I was doordashing tonight and had an order to pick up here. Upon entering I told the lady working that I was there for a door dash. She got an attitude with me and rudely said they didn’t have one. I checked my phone again and said “is this Mi Paela?” She then corrected me on how I said it wrong in a smart aleck tone and said if the customer doesn’t call them to tell them that they placed the DoorDash order then they don’t know to make it because they’d have to check the computer to see the order was placed. I asked what does that mean and she said she can confirm it now but it’ll be 25 minutes till it’s done. So I asked how is a costumer supposed to know they have to call to make sure they saw their DoorDash come in and she said “I don’t know!” So I just canceled their order on my end and left. I seriously cannot say enough about the food and atmosphere at this cute and elegant little place. This is my little slice of heaven when I am having a tough day at work, I am lucky enough to work in the same building as this restaurant. This dish I got was their lasagna, which I’m not a lasagna person at all. I can’t even explain how good this was. The flavors were perfect, the noodles were like butter. I was not surprised that I enjoyed it so much. I have tried a handful of dishes here, the yucca fries are such a good find, I didn’t even know what they were. I try to recommend them to anyone who I think might be near them when they’re open.
