It took 15 mins to get water, then we ordered a Meat and cheese plate and a Ginger and Passion fruit Mojito. It took 39 mins to get the appetizer plate and another server had to come by and give us our drinks. She said "I found these just sitting at the bar would you guys like your drinks". My wife had the tilapia and I had Alfredo and chicken. She is highly allergic to bell peppers so when the fish came it looked like it had them. We asked the waitress and she left and came back quick and said no it doesn't have any. The description of the fish said nothing about bell peppers anywhere. She ate the fish and said she felt her throat get itchy. I took a bite of what looked like a bell pepper and sure enough it was. We told them and it took 3 people to finally say the veggies had them. I told them we had hurry bc she needed to go home and get her shot for the allergy. They apologized and not one person offered to comp the meal or give us a meal on the house next time. This isn't just an itchy rash reaction type allergy. It's very serious like a peanut one or worse. They took no real responsibility. I paid the $103.74 bill and left. It's good, but I was expecting a much better quality of food for all the reviews that I read. I went to this restaurant because I was looking for arepas and it was the only restaurant I found near me with a Latin flavor included in the menu. They were actually pretty good, but small size bite (6 of them, more like an appetizer), I wish they could have a big one with stuffed options. I did order the Pernil al Horno, they do it with thing sliced pork; it was lacking in flavor and low in salt; helped for the gravy on top. Pernil as it is pulled pork (cooked slow and really tender); but I have to give credit to the rice and beans (that are combined together) and the tostones they were really good. For dessert I asked for the Quesillo (it's kind of a flan but more rich and creamy) they nailed it! A cozy environment inside with the option to eat outside as well. Very pleasant service as well!

Great atmosphere and our waiter was excellent. Tried the Mai Tai, Spiced Mojito, and an aged Venezuelan rum on the rocks for drinks. The cocktails are balanced and very rum forward. If you are expecting overly sweet boat drinks disappointment awaits. I ordered the Pabellon Criollo (shredded beef, rice, beans and plantains) and was really unimpressed. After living in Florida for several years I was expecting a certain flavor profile and it didn't deliver, plus the plantains had no caramelization. My friend ordered the Linguine Fruto de Mari (seafood pasta) and said it was good as well, but didn't really rave. For dessert I would highly recommend the Quesillo (think cheesecake with ice cream) and to skip the Del La Barra which was basically like drinking straight rum with a little vanilla aftertaste.

Saw this restaurant featured on DD&D and made it our first stop in Little Rock. We were eager for the experience that we had read about online, and weren't disappointed!! They seated us outside under a nice tree on the outdoor deck, overlooking the street. As the sun went down the string lights came on. Very romantic. Started off with the coconut and raspberry mojito on the recommendation of our server, Daniel, who was very friendly and professional and gave us lots of great menu advice! Both mojitos were refreshing and sweet, with lots of limes and crushed mint. A must try!!

For our main course we got mini arepas, carpaccio de lomito, pernil al horno, and surimi crab salad. The arepas came with a side of fresh tomato salsa that was so good. The carpaccio was light and a great appetizer. The rice and beans that came with the pernil al horno were very flavorful, as was the pork. Mmmmm so tender. The surimi crab salad was also good but next time we'll probably opt for a salad with a spring mix. Lots of mayo!

All in all the place definitely lived up to the hype. We will definitely...

So I'm from DC area and moved down to Arkansa. I miss my hispanic/latin food (Not Mexican) I tried this restaurant out for the first time. It's a nice spot, but service SUCKs. First the lady asked if I was an uber driver picking up food instead of asking me if she could help me. Secondly, I was given an option to sit outside (because it's not suppose to rain outside) but it just finished raining about 20 minutes earlier. 5 minutes later a couple who comes out then changes their mind and somehow was able to find a sit for them inside.. Third I place an order of tapas. I received my food with no utensils. The waitress literally goes and retrieves another tables stuff first and continues to talk. I don't have my utensils, the wind is blowing and my food is getting cold. She then goes back in and comes back a minute later and says sorry. At this point. I'm just disappointed with the service. Overall the food is good but service socks unless you don't look like an uber driver. (Chinos, wallabie Clark's and...
