McDonald's — Restaurant in Littlestown

I am adding an update to this previous review where I left one star. I had to say something after what happened today 10/24/19 I went in around 130pm expecting to get lunch and it was a bit busy so I ordered from the kiosk but found it wasnt working properly it wouldnt take payments. I saw the McRib on the menu and ordered a combo. After sitting down for a while my order arrived and I immediatley noticed that some other bun was used instead of the normal one i went to inquire about it and was told they didnt have anymore of the proper bun. There was no notice of this or i wouldve ordered something else. This happened after numerous other visits to this store and having messed up orders and other issues. I had determined this would be my last visit to this McDonalds. I sat back down to eat and wouldnt you know a manager by the name of Brandy came out and appologized to me for not notifying me about the issue and offered me a replacement meal. I declined as I didn't have much time. (This small gesture after so many previous problems made me feel appreciated as a customer and I wanted to say Thank You to her for that) It is a big change from the previous review I made a few months ago.

Terrible service the last two times we visited here first time since the remodel and we ordered quarter pounders and doubles. The burgers were not cooked at all in the centers. Must have used the small patty press settings instead of the one for the larger burger patties I'm not sure but they were way under done. It's not even worth calling or complaining even when you take issues further than the store manager you'll get a nice letter about your complaint which I have in the past but nothing changes. Visit two and I pull into the drive thru and sit for 20 minutes and no one says anything. There were no this lane closed or traffic cone nothing indicating the lane was down. I went in. I noticed the car behind me was still sitting there when I came back out after ordering inside. I wonder if the crew thought it funny seeing how many people they could dupe into sitting there. I long for the day Littlestown gets another fast-food place because this Mcdonalds will have to step it up or will lose a lot of...

on 10/19 i went at 8pm. there was a rush. i told them to take their time due to them being busy. i ordered a code with the mcdonalds app. the cashier upcharged my order by adding things to my order i didnt even mention. even after i told her to repeat my order exactly to prevent mess ups. not only was i upcharged, but i didnt get half the food i actually ordered (alongside the food she added to my order. didnt get that either). at the pay window an old man was cashing me out. i thought he was friendly. stuck behind cars for several minutes i made small talk & he decided to act weird to me, be creepy, harass me. i rolled up my window and he proceeded to stare at me for a solid minute or two before i got to move forward to get my food. calling management did nothing. calling higher ups got me a "we'll give you a free meal & they hung up before they even gave me the offer for the free meal. i had to call this mcdonalds for a week straight until they decided to give me a $5 coupon. unacceptable for what i faced.

another issue i faced on 10/26, this was their second & final chance to redeem themselves. i ordered at 10:10pm. near closing. i told them to tell me what NOT to order so i wouldnt be a burden to them. they told me not to order icecream & a few other things (appreciated communication). so i ordered 3 mcchickens, cookies, & fries. i pull over & check my order, everything looking good. im excited. i get home, open the mcchickens. none of them had patties. it was just bread & mayo. that was it. i called to complain, phones shut down. i call the next day (at different hours), they wouldnt answer (even if they picked up, they said theyd get a manager.. and then id be put on an hour or two hold).

OVERALL this mcdonalds sucks. from now on im driving to the Gettysburg or Hanover one. might as well drive the extra distance for guaranteed food vs taking a gamble and losing money just...

Today I was at the littlestown pa location around 8:30 pm I ordered a number 8 fish fillet sandwich plan asking for extra ketchup and a large vanilla milkshake also my friend in the car with me got a mccrispy meal while up at the food window the woman having my food asked me if I also ordered a milkshake I said yes so we sat for maybe 3 minutes before our food bag was handed over and the sweet tea the woman said see you have a good night when I pulled away I realized I didn't have the large milkshake I ordered and we were missing a fry so we went inside where the woman proceeded to call me a liar 4 times saying that she handed me the milkshake and then proceeded to tell me that only the fish sandwich was ordered not the meal when I had ordered i did not even say fish sandwich I said number 8 large with a vanilla milkshake another employee came out from the back and said that she was in the process of making my milkshake right now so I looked at the woman and said so you just called me a liar saying you handed me the milkshake and clearly the milkshake hadn't even been made yet she continued to tell me she already handed me the milkshake and because they failed to put my recipt in the bag they would not be giving me my fry and they gave me a small vanilla milkshake when I ordered a large but because the woman insisted she was giving me a milkshake for free it would be a small my friend is on the heavier side and the woman had the nerve to look right at us and say not only could we afford to miss a few meals but that we certainly didn't look like we needed McDonald's and a milkshake we were highly embarrassed and ripped off that is not how people...
