Lost Coffee: A Hidden Gem for Coffee Connoisseurs
As you step into Lost Coffee, you're immediately greeted by the enticing aroma of freshly roasted beans, a unique feature that sets this cafƩ apart. Right in the heart of the shop, coffee beans are roasted on-site, promising both freshness and quality with every cup.
I started my visit with a classicā a double shot espresso. It was evident that Lost Coffee likely uses a light roast, which allowed the espresso to deliver a bright, complex flavor profile that was both robust and smooth. The expertise in their roasting process shines through in the nuanced flavors of their espresso, making it a must-try for espresso lovers.
But the real highlight of my visit was the rosemary flavor latte. This inventive creation was a delightful surprise, balancing the herbal notes of rosemary perfectly with the rich, creamy texture of the latte. It's a testament to Lost Coffee's creativity and their commitment to pushing the boundaries of traditional coffee flavors.
The menu also boasts a variety of other unique offerings, such as a lavender latte, which I look forward to trying on my next visit. The barista at Lost Coffee was remarkably swift and skilled, managing a steady stream of orders with finesse and speed.
Lost Coffee is not just a coffee shop; it's a destination for those who cherish a superior coffee experience. From their on-site roasting to their innovative beverage creations, this cafƩ is a treasure trove for the discerning coffee enthusiast. Their coffee production process is really top notch whether we are talking about washing the coffee or very even very light roasts of their specialty cultivars or blends used for general coffee drink prep.
Service here is outstanding. I mean, I don't know if there is better service available at any coffee shop in the greater Denver area. Employees are friendly, courteous and happy to answer questions.
My only critique, and I feel this should be taken as constructive criticism, is their attachment to super light Nordic roasts in which beans are barely taken to first crack in roasting.

I purchased some coffee here that was advertised as a "dark" roast and the coffee was at best an extremely light cinnamon/light roast.... which was unfortunate as I sometimes use coffee prep methods such as vacuum brewing that pairs better with a true medium coffee roast.
Be brave Lost Coffee, you can offer customers some slightly darker (or just actual medium) roast offerings while still maintaining your purist...
