Wang's Gourmet — Restaurant in Littleton

Well since we moved to this area we’ve had Wang’s and it’s been consistently going downhill over the last 2-3 times we ordered food from here. Very unfortunate that it wasn’t ever good enough for a positive review and that tonight’s order prompted this 1star review.

Our food was bland, not flavorful, tiny and greasy egg rolls, some veggies in my Kung Pao were not fresh (mostly the peppers were spotty and soft). The sesame chicken also soft and subpar. I was also greeted with this large plastic thing (see pic) in my mouth upon having a bite of my Kung Pao Shrimp. Needless to say I didn’t finish my meal, who knows what other trash was in there..

On top of this, we had a gift card so ordered from DoorDash but picked up since we live so close and to cut down on fees. After reviewing the DoorDash prices on receipt stapled to the bag to the prices on the menu also stapled on the pick up bag, we noticed an insane markup! Nearly 100% markup on the egg rolls and $3.50 on each entree. Wow. I understand there’s going to be some fees/markup but 25% on the total ticket cost is not acceptable. Wang’s not only do you allow your customers to be gouged like this, but on top of that you serve us terrible quality food? We’ll not be...

We have been eating at Wang's Gourmet for 40 years. We ordered $70 work of food last night, and so far have found 3 hairs in the brown rice. Each time I pulled it from my mouth, gross! I don't know why I kept eating after the first time, which was last night. I find the other two when we were eating leftovers tonight. I called the restaurant and they had me send photos. They told me that no one in their kitchen has that type of hair. I don't know how they could tell that from a photo, and I have no reason to cause a stir because we've enjoyed their food for years. I simply wanted a refund, which didn't seem to be asking much. We won't be going back. We'd already discussed how their food has not been the quality that our used to be, so we weren't going back anyway. I just wanted to warn others about the unclean conditions and poor...

I ordered on line. Asked specifically for all sauces to be on the side as when you get items they can be soggy. This was not done.

Asked for napkins and chopsticks, this was not done.

We ordered fried shrimp appetizer….super small and from a box. They were very mushy inside.

Ordered teriyaki chicken, was not teriyaki sauce. Not bad tasting just not teriyaki sauce.

Ordered fried rice….has nothing in it but rice. Normally places have carrots, peas, onion and sometimes egg. This was just bland brownish rice.

Pros…the grilled beef was good, most food was hot.quickly prepared.
