My fiance and I ordered curbside pickup and when we received our drinks (2 large Powerades) they were completely discolored (VERY pale pink) and it just tasted like water. Prior to receiving the drinks, we had just been told that the Powerade had been changed. My fiance then takes the drinks inside and explains the situation: Our drinks are discolored and it tastes like slightly flavored water. The manager on shift then grabs a cup and tastes the Powerade, claiming that "it tasted fine". I don't think she understands that when you change a drink, you have to let it filter through the lines. Even then, when my fiance tried to show her that the drink was discolored as PROOF, she simply rolled her eyes, walked away, and told him to "just refill it then".
After getting new drinks, my fiance then asked for a few more spicy ketchups since our mobile order only had two when we asked for six total.... The manager had the audacity to look at the employee that gave us the extra sauces as if he shouldn't have given them to us; treating the employee as if he was in trouble for DOING HIS JOB.
Overall, it was a bad experience. Something that could have been handled with a simple: "Oh, sorry about that. Let me get that fixed for you". 0/10 customer service and 0/10 management...
Read moreThis location is horrible because it was a motel/ halfway home/ whatever you can think of where criminal activity may take place next door. I was so uncomfortable in the drive thru because of the type of activity that was happening right outside of my vehicle. I visited while in the San Antonio area. It was late and I didn't know the area. The food was horrible and they couldn't get it right. I had to circle back around to the drive thru. After that, my order was still made incorrect and the chicken tenders I ordered for my 2 and 3 year old were fried so hard. I knew my children would have a hard time trying to eat. Not wanting to go thru the drive thru again I waited until later that day to come back to speak with a day manager. When I came back they made my order over and better. However, thier body language and the way I was questioned and looked at made me feel like I was being treated like I was lying or just wanting free food. I don't know why because I told them I still had the food with me and the receipt. They just looked at me weirdly but, they didn't want to take the food back to see it uneaten and throw it away. Read moreI go to this Whataburger regularly as it's close to my house and I am part of the rewards program. The food here is mostly consistent with what I normally get when I visit a Whataburger establishment but sometimes the fries are under seasoned or I only get 4 or 5 onion rings when I order them. Customer service is good though I would like them to be more consistent when at the register and at the drive thru. Sometimes I don't get asked if I'm a reward member so I forget to pull out my phone (partly my fault), or they don't ask if I want ketchup, or they don't put napkins in my bag. Let me clarify that these have not happened to me all at once. I'd say they dont ask about the rewards like 60% of the time, no ketchup 10%, and no napkins the other 30%. This has all been my personal experience. I've always been offered a drink carrier though if I have more than two drinks. Also,when I use the drive thru, it normally takes about 5-7 mins if its busy. I'd day about 2-3 if it's not. Overall, decently fast service and nice people, but they need to work on consistancy in both their food and taking orders so that customers know...
