Chicken Express — Restaurant in Livingston

We have been here 3 times in the past week and the food is consistently good however the service by counter staff and consistency of pricing is abriatrary. I was charged all 3 times we ordered the senior meals. One time we were served a large drink entree side oder and roll.. next time we were charged for senior meal and one order was substituted with the special whose price was less but charged for a senior meal and served a large drink. Today we ordered a senior meal and served a small drink when I mentioned that we had been told the previous 2 times that large drinks had been included the additional up charge twas removed. However I was charged extra for cocktail sauce and when my order came out I clearly did not have a roll and only used used cocktail sauce and returned tartar sauce. I did not bring it to the cashier or servers attention because I did not want to be further embarrassed by asking for the missing item or having another up charge removed. I highly doubt if I return to this establishment. However I would suggest that management provide extensive training for front staff in customer service and communications relating to upcharges. Also counter staff and or servers need to ensure what is ordered and what is served is consistent so the customer can experience a consistent ...

Customer service here used to be much better Leslie is awesome but whoever the man is said he was manager. I ate a piece of chicken in my truck as I was broke down. Turned the light on a realized that my order was incorrect. So I walked inside patiently waited as the lady in front of me was getting her order fixed that was wrong. He offered her a free gallon of tea for the mistake. Then I get up there and I'm sorry I don't know what's going on back there but my order is really off. I ordered a small coleslaw they gave me a LG and I'm not sure if I was charged fir it. I asked for no breast but there is breast in here and I asked for half rolls half biscuits and got all biscuits. Remer I ate out of the box of chicken. I then watched him take my chicken box over and take out the breast and put them up there with the fresh chicken take the Cole slaw put it back in with the other Cole slaw and put the biscuit back on the Trax and put rolls in. Handed me my food back as if he had not just done something wrong I just didn't even know what to say still don't. Isn't that like cross containmation? It's not that the food is bad here, in fact, it's quite good. But the lack of attention to what they place in the boxes is just ridiculous. We live about 20 miles from this Chicken Express, it's the closest one to us, and when we order food to go, we don't check it, which is a huge mistake. We've had multiple times that we got all the way home and didn't have things we ordered, so it's been a good while since we've been back. We decided to try them again yesterday, 12/1/24, and again, I guess it's on me that I didn't check the food before I left, but honestly - why should ANYONE have to do that? They have the ticket as to what we ordered. Sure enough, got home with our two orders which were the three piece fish dinners - one was missing one of two sides, neither had ranch for the poppers, and neither had hush puppies. This is at least the third time we have gotten home without side orders, and I honestly don't understand it. So just know the food is good, the people are nice, but don't EVER leave without...
