El Taquito Mexican Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Livingston

Yall be careful with young kids! Husband and I with our 9 month old son wanted to sit down enjoy food! Walked in and litteraly no one at the front one lady was sweeping and another siting down across the table legs out on her phone and who I believe owner who was at the front ignoring us (only reason thought we was owner is because the next couple that came in he proceeded to bring them a menu and check them out) well I'm white my husband is mexican my son is mixed but looks white. Our waitress a late 30 yrd old Mexican lady comes over and just starts touching my son his hair everything and I'm okay like what are you doing. Then continues to walk by touching him and speaking spainsh with my husband! So I'm eating with my son my husband left to go talk to this lady his usually when he wants to vent about me. So I got up and was done eating grabbed my things and my son and continue to walk towards the day the waitress then trys to take my son from me trying to hold him.... like excuse me playing with him touching his hair one things but I don't even know you and your going to try to hold my son!! I told her no thank you and walked out telling the who I believe owner your waitress needs to learn respect and boundaries!!!! Never had to deal with some trying that hard to get my son !...

That place suggxs. We drove into the parking lot and it looked horrible. We should have just drove away. There's dead bushes and shrubs and dead palm tree trunks everywhere and there has not been any landscaping done for what looks like over a year, and refuse was piled up near the dumpster. As we entered, the first two booths on the left were not cleaned properly so we continued onward and there was a puddle of water on the floor that obviously needed to be mopped up because it is a safety issue, plus it is just a mess. The hostess gal said that it is condensation from the ac vent up above. Dank atmosphere. Their salsa was good, the charro beans were ok, refried beans and rice were barely passable. The margarita was similar to watered down koolaid. Worst margarita almost ever. Pretty much everything else was awful. The guacamole is very weird, some odd creamy concoction with too many tomato chunks used as filler. Worst enchiladas. Our server was great. No complaints about that person. Usually I have great service here but today was mediocre at best. We went in at lunch and sat at one of the middle tables. I guess he was a new server to your restaurant, average height brunette white guy, but he wasn't very helpful. He was nice but when he brought our drinks and took our orders, he never came back until our food was ready. I was with 3 other people and my friend asked for a straw and didn't get it until the meal came out. I ordered fajita nachos without jalapeño peppers and when he brought out the food, my order had jalapeños on it, he left without making sure our orders were okay. Luckily my group didn't mind the jalapeños and I was able to give them away. My entire tables drinks remained empty the entire meal. Not once did he offer to refill until we asked for our ticket and then he only refilled one cup of water. I asked for a to go box when he brought us the ticket but he never came back with one and we waited 10 minutes. I just gave up. I was very disappointed in the service today and sad I couldn't take the rest of my nachos home that I paid $8 for ,the plate was...
