Livingston Diner — Restaurant in Livingston

Food was fine , typical diner . My review is in regards to the front cashier worker. The Spanish lady. I ordered to go , and paid . My food came I opened it , added salt and pepper and took a few bites. Another customer comes in and wanted to go as well. Front cashier proceeded to tell the patrons is “this really to go or to eat in” . I knew it was geered towards me but I ignored it .

She then came to me as I was eating and said “next time when you order to go you , you need to take your food to go with you. I’ll let you stay now but for next time you have to leave after you get your to go food. My response was “there won’t be a next time” she walked away.

Now I see the Caribbean gentleman Donavan (who was taking great care of the diner patrons) I asked him if there was a policy I needed to be aware of , was there an issue with a customer who purchased food from the establishment to sit here and eat. He responded I know , I know just eat, there’s no issue that how she is . So I’m here to respond in a way where I won’t jeopardize my freedom . I’ve worked customer service and food service and have never done this to a customer . Once you purchase an item you’re normally good to sit and enjoy.

I ordered chicken tenders, a cheeseburger, and French fries off Uber Eats. Simple right? Well apparently not to the kitchen staff. The fries were horrible, not just bland but stale with 0 salt. I added sauce and they were still bad. They had spots on them too which means the potato was going bad. The burger was the worst part though, literally just a hunk of meat with cheese and buns. No vegetables except a pathetic slice of pickle on the side even though the menu clearly states it should come with lettuce, tomato, and cole slaw. The best part was the honey mustard that came with the nuggets which they probably ordered from a warehouse. Eat here if you want old fries and a burger you have to...

Dirty diner ! The floors are filthy, the tables aren’t properly cleaned between customers. Non sanitary utensils ! The forks on the table had food stains on it, we asked for plastic, and the waiter gave it to us and had an attitude that we asked for plastic. The floors are extremely dirty, had mold under a few of the tables. The waiters are disgustingly rude. He gave us this horrible attitude and vybe from the time we walked me. Spoke to us with an aggressive manor. Didn’t really help us, he had to look for him and keep calling for him for everything we needed . The state needs to come evaluate this diner ASAP !! They are violating so many health protocols. People are going to get sick...
