Toarmina's Pizza (7 Mile) — Restaurant in Livonia

Usually I love this Toarminas location. Yesterday I placed an almost $90 order and expected pick up in 25 minutes of placing it. When I arrived to pick up the order, I was shocked to find out they gave my order away to someone else. The woman who was helping us seemed flustered/angry that I was there to pick up my order and called for the gentleman to come take over. He informed me someone else came in prior and claimed they placed an online order for pick up. I told him I have the receipt in my email and an ID to match to the order and he apologized and said he would remake my order.

I ordered 2 14" pizzas, 1 boneless bbq wings, 1 traditional buffalo wings, and 1 cheese bread.

When I came back again 25 minutes after I initially went it, the man once again apologized to me and told me they didn't check the name on the order, but the woman who did take it was surprised it was $90 for the order and that it was already payed for online. To me, this should have raised all the red flags that it was indeed not her order. Regardless, I was just happy to get my order and go home.

When I got home, I looked at the order and it was very clear that the women making the order we're fed up and just decided to remake it with minimal effort. Pizzas we're 12 inches and not 14 (14" is $3 more each), the blt pizza had barely any lettuce or tomatoes on it, both pizzas we're supposed to have extra cheese, but did not, my boneless bbq wings had barely any sauce on them and were not tossed, and my buffalo wings had no sauce on them at all to my dismay. Cheese bread was standard.

I wasn't upset when I was told my order was given away to someone else, but instead felt bad for the family since they most likely lost out on money. However, when I got home and saw that they put no effort into re-making my order that I PAYED for, I was disheartened, disappointed, and a little bit angry at that fact. I frequent this Toarminas maybe 2-3 times monthly as they are right down my street and I have never had a problem previously.

Be wary if you place online orders. The man there seemed apologetic, but the women we're clearly irritated that they had made a mistake and had to remake my order, therefore, they put no effort into making my order correctly. I should have just requested a refund and went to Little Caesars because aside from all the issues, there was a baby (maybe 3) sitting in a carseat in the middle of the kitchen. I understand it's family owned, but that's just plain unsafe for the baby to be free to roam around scalding hot ovens, knives, and chemicals.

Do better. Start checking names on orders before handing them out, and stop half a@@ing orders you remake when you made the mistake as the merchant.

I will not be ordering from them for a long time.

My family has been ordering from this location for the last 17 years! Never had any issues till today. I placed an order online at 5:48pm i even had an email to confirm time the order was place, delivery time on the email was 1 hour. I live in the neighborhood of Toarminas but i decided to have it delivered so i could relax and not have to leave the house after a busy day. At 7:20pm way past an hour, i thought maybe they didn't get the online order, i mean its the internet it happens. So i tried calling...and calling and calling. There was no answer and just rang until it said to type in a voice mail code. So i get dress and head up there... and just to put it out there I WASN'T EVEN UPSET, cause hey things happen and it wasn't far... When i go inside i only see one girl making the food, and so i said to her "excuse me, i placed a delivery order online an hour and a half ago..." before i could say anything she snaps at me LIKE I DID SOMETHING WRONG very rude and says ' THERES ONLY ONE DELIVERY DRIVER SO ITS TAKING LONGER

I really tried to love this place and I'm really disappointed that it wont be my new go to for pizza night. I ordered pizza from here for the first time from the 7 mile location in Livonia and my experience was mostly fine. I ordered a 24 inch half bacon half cheese along with a Toraminas and pepperoni bread; I also ordered two, 2 liters for delivery. The delivery was on time and the driver was nice but when we got our pizza it wasn't hot, it also wasn't luke warm so it wasn't bad, we just figured they were busy. The driver forgot one of the 2 liters but was nice enough to go back and bring it back to the house and I thank him for that. I loved the flavor of everything so I decided to order pizza from there again the following week but I decided to pick it up instead, this way I would get it when it was ready which I did. However, this time, the pizza was overcooked, and nearly burnt near the edges, there was an extreme amount of herbs on the Toarmina's bread and the pepperoni bread looked like it was cut by a child. The crust of the pizza also had a garlic butter crust with the same herbs as the Toarmina's bread; so much so that we couldn't eat the crust. The problem with this is that I never even asked for crust flavor. The pictures are to show that the crust is very dark (near burnt) and to show how much of the herb I was able to take off one piece of bread. Aside from the bottom of the pizza itself being a bit hard it tasted great, which is why I'm disappointed that I won't be returning to this store...
