Smoothies On 7 Mile Dairy Bar — Restaurant in Redford Township

I live in this neighborhood and in the years I've been here the summer time is the worst when trying to get onto the street you live on. Like there's a bar at the end of the street too and they are FAR more respectful of the residents in the neighborhood than this ice cream shop. How hard is it to put up a sign that says please form a line on the north side of the street so people can actually turn into the neighborhood??? For years it's been like this and it's completely on the ice cream shop to take care of this issue. You may only be here a few months of the year but you make every resident of Gaylords' lives a lot harder. Some of us just want to be able to go home!!! Maybe invest in a sign for your customers or simply send the manager or owner out to direct them so they don't impede traffic every single day. I will not be going to this establishment ever again because you don't even respect the people that pay thousands of dollars living on this street just to be blocked from getting home and even worse having YOUR customers yell at us because they don't have any common courtesy to move out of the...

If you want great Ice cream go here. Ive came here for a couple years. After about 10 times I decided to do a review. The staff is super nice ( if your allergic to things let them know) They have a drive thru and and walk up. This place does get busy especially on hot days and weekends. I saw one of their post for the Raspberry Cheesecake and this was super fresh. Raspberry tasted super good XD and of course made with love. I never mind spending money when you can see the staff and they are happy to work there. Smoothies has been around a long time, probably not the same owner but I remember getting ice cream (and even hot food in the winter) 40 years ago at this location when I was a kid helping my sister with deliveries. It's been "Smoothies" as I know it now probably 15-20 years. Used to take my (now grown daughter) here as a kid. They seem to always keep busy with the drive-thru, and now I live close enough to just walk up when the urge strikes me. The kids working there are always friendly and quick with the orders.
