I've held off on leaving a review for this restaurant for quite some time, despite repeated experiences of poor customer service. On one occasion, I even tipped in advance when placing a pickup order, only to be met with rudeness and indifference—something I regretted immediately. Tonight was the last straw. I arrived to pick up my order after waiting the appropriate amount of time. The cashier told me it would be a few more minutes. While waiting, I noticed a customer return a bag of food, saying they had received the wrong order. The bag was simply placed back on the counter without any indication that it would be discarded or re-checked. After waiting for some time without being acknowledged by the cashier (a gal) who had asked me to wait a few more minutes—I noticed that many other customers were picking up their orders, while I was still left waiting. Eventually, a second staff member (a guy) came out to assist. I asked him about my order (since I had received a text saying it was ready), and he handed me the same bag that had just been returned unknowingly it had been return but the gal did not bother to communicate anything with him. I asked if it was safe to take and that it had left the restaurant and been handled by someone else. Without much concern or explanation, I was told “yes,” and that was it—no apology, no offer to remake the food, nothing. I was on a tight schedule and didn’t have time to argue or wait, so I took the bag and left, but I left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and frankly concerned and my food was cold. It's a clear health and safety issue to re-issue food that has already left the premises. I truly hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and implements better food handling practices, as well as customer service training. Read moreI have been turned away an hour before closing multiple times. The staff working nights will close down the lobby even though they say you can dine in until 10:30, but if you come in at 9:30 the entire lobby is closed down and chairs are on tables.
I called ahead last night to make sure we could eat inside and they said it would be fine and when I arrived the same thing happened. Chairs were up, staff was rushing to close, they rushed us to order and had no intentions of staying open long enough to eat inside with an entire hour before closing.
Edit: You can’t reply directly to responses so I guess I’ll do that here. I don’t have specific dates but I’m sure you can check the cameras every other Wednesday night and the lobby will be closed up early or people are being rushed out the door. I only know this because I work every Wednesday night and get off at about 9:15/9:30pm every week and work up the street.
The reason this is such a disappointment to me is because if your establishment closes there is only 2 other dine in options in the area that are fast food burger joints. Read moreI really, really want to give this place 5 stars because the food is honestly awesome, but they consistently forget items. Literally, 4 times in a row I've had to either come back or just go without one of the things they forgot. Tonight, I asked for two sides of blue cheese and extra crispy wings, but I got neither. I was fine with the wings not being extra crispy because they're still delicious, but this is the fourth time they've forgotten something. I paid for the sides of blue cheese and didn't get them. The last time I came here, I paid for some garlic noodles and had to come back to get them. Before that, they forgot all of the dips and celery/carrots that I had to come back for. It was a big order so I didn't want to waste like 10 dollars I spent for just the celery/carrots and dips. Finally, before that, they forgot dips and fries that I had to come back for. It's really frustrating having to constantly come back to get items I ordered. Two of the times I caught it before I left the lot, but it's up to a restaurant to double check all orders.
Update: I came back, and once again, they forgot my sides of carrots and celery as well as dips. Luckily, I checked it...
