I was experiencing difficulty with XFinity customer service over the phone as I spoke to (4) different representatives who all gave me different answers regarding how they were going to handle sending me additional needed equipment. The last representative told me they were annotating my account and not to worryâŚjust go to the store and the information will be in the notes allowing you to pickup the pods. I told the guy/kid what I was told and he immediately told me ââŚthey lied to you, you need to contact corporate.â I asked if we could please check my account first and he did so reluctantly. After which he reiterated that I needed to go to a corporate store. I asked if we could call customer service together as Iâve made 2 trips to the store and a couple of hours on the phone with them and I was told ânoâ. I then asked to speak to a manager and while I was waiting I asked the kid what his name was and he said âI donât have to give you my nameâ. See, they donât wear name tags at this store and I simply wanted a name to be able to reference for my experience. I was amazed how he just stood there and was telling me there was âno reason that you need my name. So I walked over to where two other associates were and asked them what that guys name was and they looked at him for a couple of seconds the. The associate âhelpingâ me had no clue what he was doing, was condescending and dismissive of what I was there for. He kept playing and joking with a coworker while listening to an earbud of music or a game that she was messing with on his phone and wasnât paying any actual attention to me. He didnât know how to use the program and said he was going to âsave me a ton of moneyâ but quoted a new plan that would cost more than my current plan when I wasnât even there to change my plan. He was entering information into the system wrong and didnât know how to properly code my request to get the correct price for the service. 3 other employees kept having to help him. When he finally got the right price on the contract and I asked him to interpret the contract language for me before I sign anything, he clicked all the boxes on my phone and signed it without my consent. He had no knowledge to explain what was included in the plan he signed me up for. He spent more time joking and playing with his coworkers than addressing my concern.    Read more08/21/2024 I just wanted to get a new remote. I was greeted quickly and helped. The young lady stated that it would be no problem. I was given a new remote. After I set it up with my TV, I noticed that it didn't have voice control. I took it back and was informed, by a different young lady, that I was given an older model remote. I was given a newer model remote which had the voice control. After taking this one home, it would not set up with the TV. I went back and was greeted by Lance. I informed him of the problem. He stated that I may need to change the system box because I had an older model box and that is why the new remote was not working. I took the new system box home, hooked everything up. The remote and everything works well. I returned one more time to the store to return the old equipment. All of this just to replace a remote. The customer service was good and friendly. Every time I came in, they quickly helped me. I would have given it a 5 star, but I had to make four trips...
