First time here and I tried the deluxe combo that came up with yummy butter chicken, a very big and delicious naan, fragrant white basmati rice and fresh, crisp salad. I am super satisfied with deliciousness of this meal. It was piping hot and I couldn't wait so ate in my car in the parking lot. A deluxe can fill two persons if not three. I even loved the sectioned container. The staff was very kind and very organized. Definitely will be returning again. I want to try all of the dishes. Visit #2- okay I was back for more. This time I ordered mixed tandoori grill. I opted out of fish and the owner was graciously able to switch that with more beef kabab. All were really good with a great Ballance of spices but chicken skewers were my favorite. Though at other places, it is usually mildly spiced, the black peppers were up a notch so the kids did not have this one but we loved malai boti. Beef kabab were pretty good but not as good as Shalimar's. Tandoori boti was pretty good and marinated well. All of the tandoori dishes were marinated sufficiently and spices were well balanced, so they really have mastered their cusine. I ordered their naans because they are the best. Also ordered nihari and lahori cholay. These did not disappoint at all. Lahori choly were true to name and taste and nihari was perfectly cooked and spiced, no overpowering taste of flour in the gravy though I feel like they could add more gravy to both cholay and nihari though that is my personal preference. The nihari reminded us of our favorite restaurant named Bismillah in Fremont, CA and it is the flavor we had craved for long. I could definitely see myself order a big batch of nihari for the guests. Can't wait to...
Read moreIf you're looking for amazing Pakistani food, Little Lahore is a must-visit. The restaurant is home to some of the best butter chicken I've ever had, and it's all thanks to their incredible chef, Ali. Every bite of the tender chicken smothered in creamy, flavorful sauce is an absolute delight. The spices are perfectly balanced, and the dish is always cooked to perfection.
But the excellence of Little Lahore goes beyond their food. The restaurant is also home to an amazing manager, Mohammad. He always goes above and beyond to ensure that his customers are happy and satisfied with their dining experience. From recommendations on the menu to accommodating special requests, he is a true asset to the restaurant.
Beyond the butter chicken, Little Lahore offers a great selection of other Pakistani dishes as well. Their naan bread is always fresh and piping hot, and their biryani is a must-try. They use high-quality ingredients and authentic spices to create dishes that are truly unforgettable.
The atmosphere at Little Lahore is also warm and welcoming. The decor is beautiful, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Whether you're dining in or taking out, they make sure that you feel right at home.
Overall, I can't recommend Little Lahore enough. If you're in the Lodi area and looking for amazing Pakistani food and top-notch service, be sure to give them a try. You won't be...
Read moreThis is an absolutely wonderful authentic hole-in-the-wall restaurant. If you are craving high quality Pakistani food. The ambiance is quaint, the quality of food is not lacking at all. This is as good as you can get in the greater Central valley/ vineyard regions of Northern California -- Better than anything in Fresno or Modesto. I was blown away by the nihari- probably the best I have ever had in Northern California. The goat Curry is also phenomenal. The sesame seed coated naan was unbelievable. I have heard great things about their butter chicken and I will have to try that next time.
On top of that, the owner of the Restaurant is a retired US army major- so not only are you supporting a local small business, but you are also supporting a veteran-owned business. I was lucky to stumble upon this place Once. I will be stopping by here many more times in the future anytime I am rolling...
