This museum is small but awesome! There's something to do/look at in every corner and varying levels of science exploration. Most concepts were for kids at least 5+ (my four year olds weren't into explanations at all), but the replay value is big here. The moon walk exhibit (40 lbs-200lbs weight restriction) is especially awesome! There is also an area for littles to play with big blocks, train table, a board for exploring fastenings, and big comfy chairs for adults. There are clean bathrooms, awesome staff, although the gift shop is pricey and didn't have anything specific to the museum. Read moreWe had a birthday party for my 2 boys at the World of Wonders Science Museum today. Michelle did such a good job helping us with our birthday party. She helped me put all the decorations up, and she was so good with the kids during their experiment. The kids got to wear cute lab coats during the experiment and the instructor explained the science behind making slime and she let the kids pick what color they wanted their slime to be. The whole experience was perfect and my boys had so much fun during their party. And then they cleaned up the room for us after the party, all we had to do was take the things that we wanted to bring with us. And then my kids had fun playing in the museum after the party too! If you haven't had a birthday party at WOW yet, you are...
Read moreMy son came here on a school field trip and insisted we come here. The museum admission in my opinion is appropriate, but I bought our tickets on “Groupon” which had a family deal (2 kids and 2 adults). The museum is located in what looks like downtown Lodi and parking is in a garage right next to the museum. Museum is one story, but definitely had cool hands on exhibits.
I honestly didn’t think I would enjoy this place as much my kids did. Let alone enjoy science experiments with a few requiring a bit of critical thinking. Definitely a must check out experience with it...
