The female manager was sarcastic and rude upon our arrival. I wish I would’ve gotten her name but I was distracted and in disbelief as to what I was hearing from her. She was thin, 40-50 years of age, 5’8”-ish with brown hair.

Believe me when I say we did not said anything to warrant such remarks from her. We turned around and left. It’s a shame too because we’ve been waiting a long while for a new place to open there since Rosewood closed during Covid. First impressions are important. My husband and I decided to have dinner at the Market Tavern tonight we've never been to the one in Stockton and this was our first time having dinner at the one in Lodi that just opened and let me tell you the food was EXCELLENT!! We had soup, salad and chicken marsala. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious for dessert we had the pear crisp which was also very good. Our server Desiree was so nice and attentive. We will definitely be back again we loved it!!! Thank you Desiree for your excellent service and thank you Market Tavern for the delicious food...

We had to wait an hour just to sit at the bar. No one should have to wait just to sit at the bar. We were hoping to sit at a regular table not a high top.
