I ate at this restaurant a couple months ago with family from out of town. I made reservations. When I got there the restaurant was not crowded. The staff was just standing around talking to each other and only one girl seem to be working. We ordered our breakfast and it took almost 40 minutes for the first breakfast to come out and over the next 35 minutes they came out one at a time. Nobody in our party was able to eat together. The first person was done before the last person got their meal. I talked to the manager who said that they didn't know where their cook was so she was cooking. The food was subpar. We never got our toast or other sides.. I obtained the owner's phone number and messaged him. He said he would call back when he was in his office. Apparently Randy does not care about his customers or the quality of his food or restaurant or what his staff does. The man never took the time to return my call or address my concerns. I have owned several businesses in the Stockton Lodi area and do not take writing reviews lightly. This was one of the worst restaurants experiences I have ever had in the area and would not recommend it to anybody. Just wanted to thank Randy for taking the time to reach out to me and maybe explain why the service was so bad in his establishment and maybe he could have avoided this...
Read moreThe food was really delicious when the restaurant first open. Everything had good presentation and deep flavors. Now the food is really bad and often times very cold. I kept trying to give it another chance but each time I wasted my money because the food got worse and worse. The owner and the service is nice, but the food is very bad. I’ve had many dishes from there, especially breakfast. My breakfast is always cold. The eggs Benedict is often cold or overcooked. And here’s a picture of the potatoes they served me the last time that I went a week ago. Sadly, I’m giving up on the place. Just look at those potatoes, they were so dry and dead inside. Pretty awful. I can’t believe they served them. Sad. Hopefully they can bring back the quality of food they had when they...
Read moreRandy’s Bistro is definitely a hidden gem of a restaurant in Lodi. We come here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and the service and food are always of the highest quality. Randy is always on site making sure the food are coming out great and he’s always making time to talk to diners, not just a cursory “hi, how are you guys doing?” But a sincere chat and conversation if the restaurant is not crazy full. The rotating Monday global menu is definitely a must try, different cuisines every Monday and we’ve yet to have a dish that isn’t worth ordering again. There are also wine pairing dinners and paint and sip dinners happening every month. This restaurant is definitely a great place to visit and you will not be...
