My friend an I have always enjoyed Angelo's and would consider eating here our treat because the food is delicious. Unfortunately today was not a good experience and will probably not be back. My friend went in to grab our order and waited with another customer for someone to help them. While waiting to be attended another lady comes in and is addressed right away, at this point my friend told the the employee that she and the other lady where there first. Staff ignored her and continued to help the other customer. No apology, nothing. My friend was finally given our order with no mention of having made her wait, zip. My friend even noticed that while the other lady was given pleasantries and offered some of their popular relish veggies, my friend received no pleasantries, no apology and no relish pickles or carrots. Sorry. Not going back.I didn't want to say this but my friend and the other customer are not caucasian but the customer who skipped the line was. I don't want to believe this is the reason but I feel it is...
Read moreThere's no better sandwich shop in the Loma Linda area than Angelo's! Weather you want a turkey and avocado on squaw, a truly delicious roast beef on wheat or the world's best meatball sub, this is the spot you need to try.
Angelo's has been serving some of the best food at the same location for over 30 years. As the restaurant has been passed down from father to son, so has the tradition of excellent food with quality ingredients. I can proudly say that I've been eating here for over 20 years.
My personal favorites are the meatball sandwich on a grinder roll or the pastrami on sourdough. The garlic rolls are a taste that you will never forget and they will also leave you with a craving for more. I am happy that I am now a father and bring my wife and children to the same location that I've been enjoying for so many years. I highly recommend that you bring your family to see what people from Loma Linda have been raving about for over...

The portions are very generous, as you can see from the photos. Unfortunately, the taste was disappointing. First off, there was no meat in the meat sauce (I’m guessing they accidentally gave me marinara). Second, there was no browned butter in the mizithra pasta, so the dish was inedible. The pasta was served with garlic rolls, which looked delicious. They were not. They were bland, slightly undercooked, and what should have been olive oil was definitely not olive oil. It was clear...
