Triano's Pizza & Beef — Restaurant in Lombard

Had an unfortunate interaction with these folks today. I was driving home from from work and I called in to order for a pickup. Was immediately placed on hold. I continued to head that way but nobody was getting back to me on hold. I continued to drive all the way to the location when as I pulled into the parking lot the call was picked up and disconnect without saying a word. I went inside and asked for the manager to make him aware of the situation. He was apologetic but seemed dismissive of my needs as a customer. He seemed to want me to place my order and wait. I already was on hold for 15m 10s, I didn't want to wait since there are other faster options on my way home. I tried to call in advance so my wait time was spent driving and not waiting in the parking lot. I understand that mistakes are and were made here. That's totally understandable but as a business that should value every single customer you should have, at the very least, bent over backwards to attempt to show appreciation for my business. I would have graciously declined since I was in a hurry but I would feel better about returning. Now, I'm not sure I will return??

I wanted this to be more than ok pizza and be our new pizza place. We have a local pizzeria that we order from every Friday and I am desperate for a change. I called the order in and the person was polite and upbeat. I ordered a 14 inch thin sausage and cheese and a stuffed veggie, but added black olives and pepperoni. The pizzas were ready in 40 minutes which was totally reasonable and were piping hot and looked great.

Now came the true test. How would it taste. The sausage and cheese was toasted slightly over. Crust was nice crispness, but since the cheese was so toasted it wasn't enough cheese in my opinion. The stuffed pizza was the biggest disappointment. I paid over $30 for a 10 inch pizza. It was all bread and cheese. The veggies should have included spinach, garlic, mushrooms, black olive and pepperoni. None of it was even visible in the pizza. I was willing to pay extra upcharge for ingredients and was looking forward to the combination of ingredients. It was disappointing and left me dissatisfied. It was pricey for the stuffed. Based on other reviews and the history of their success, I'm willing to try other things....

Hell yeah! great pizza arrived super fast and was delicious. Got the thin crust and it was awesome. I’m so happy this place is nearby to me. Can’t wait to try Italian ice next time. Italian beef rolls are great and a super good value. Props for having RC products. Comes in a paper bag so you know it’s good. Ever since the dominos closed here in 2010, many pizza places have opened up here and most of them have not been anything special but man I hope this place stays forever.
