Johnny's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Lompoc

I like to frequent this place because it truly has great food good service and a kid friendly environment (during the day) I enjoy a good relationship with the staff and locals however I’m writing this review due to a disappointing experience that I hope they reflect on and understand that flexibility is in their best interest. I went in with a group of friends and our kids to have breakfast and a variety of foods, some in our party wanted breakfast food however they had switched over to their lunch menu. I as a chef that has worked in the restaurant industry understand that sometimes it’s cumbersome to accommodate breakfast during a non-breakfast period. I directly asked the cooks in the kitchen if it would be a problem to accommodate, and they said it would not so I proceeded to place my order with a server that I know well however, Britney, a co-owner of the place was upset that we placed breakfast items in a non-breakfast period. If we would’ve known earlier that it would’ve been a problem, we would’ve been perfectly fine, Going to another place that would accommodate us. we choose to spend our money at this place because we truly like the food and the general atmosphere, flexibility to accommodate the requests of your regulars is part of running a successful and profitable business. Came to this place because the had 4.5 rating, not sure why I will give them 1 ⭐️. The service was bad. The server came to table and ask what we wanted to drink and as soon as we gave her Lashell’s in my drink order, she walked away, not even asking if Noah wanted anything to drink. The inside of the bar isn't much to look at but it shines in it's offerings. There was a nice selection of craft beer and even some on special for super cheap. The food items are what you would expect from a pub. I had the sampler platter and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious.
