First, the food, I didn’t try because there weren’t any confirmed dairy free items so my review on their food is purely by looking and making a judgement call with half the information. Second, their service was attentive, friendly and quick. Third, atmosphere needs improvement, needs deep clean and some touch ups. Finally the coffee is not like the ⭐️buck ones but it has an enjoyable taste and makes you think if it’ll be worth coming back. There’s some dairy free options and I tried their pistachio, brown butter latte with oatmilk and I enjoyed it. But it wasn’t quite the coffee taste it was very sweet. Don’t get me wrong I liked it a lot. And now the; Why three stars? Well in my final checking account withdrawal there was an extra .10 cents charged when I signed for a balance that ended in .00 tip included. So that small error I am very very picky about. If misunderstanding double zero for a .10 is a difficult thing to do. Then the employees need a break, eye exam or something to better manage this place. Why is .10 a big thing for me because .10 cents are .10 cents. I have heard horror stories about companies taking .01 or .05 cents to thousands of customers and years later it was found it was fraud. Not a fan of that, I disapprove. And before you jump to conclusions no that is not what I am saying is happening but it is a possibility after their employees get their break, or any necessary adjustment to manage the bills in this place. To conclude, watch out your your final statement in your cards and save the receipts. BUT take a picture of your signature and your final total written because there’s no copy of that for you. I can’t dispute mine cause I signed and only took the receipt where is the charge of your order w no tip. Btw the picture is my order and I signed for a 10.00 as total. First off, my coffee was fine. The staff were courteous and quick. My breakfast sandwich wasn't very good. I ordered the meat lovers on a jalapeno bagel. It came with a, we'll call it egg disc, that was clearly microwaved and I was disappointed that the bagel itself was microwaved instead of toasted. It had no meat on it. Repeat, no meat on my meat lovers. Also as a minor annoyance, all of the jalapenos were in the center of the bagel. I know it's petty but I would like a little bit of jalapeno in each bite I'll just all in the middle. I didn't finish my sandwich. I didn't bother the staff cook because maybe that's the way they like their sandwiches. Other than that the coffee shop was cute. I forgot to mention the horrendous music that was playing. I went in to order a panini A Turkey Bacon & Avocado Panini and inquired on ordering another one as well. Asked if it was large portion she said yes. I said I will take one she asked if I want chips or pasta salad. I said pasta salad And then I said I will have one small side of the pasta as well. I paid $21.00 She never mentioned it would be $2 for pasta with the sandwich and I paid $5.00 for pasta on the side. Both were the same size. I didn’t question the price of one small sandwich because I thought, it’s got to be good it’s South Side. I basically dumped this after two bites and sadly went to subway.
