I stopped by Donut House (5397 Long Beach Blvd) while working as a driver—I had a little gap and was craving some tea. Walked in and was the only one there at first. I asked if they had matcha, but they didn’t. The only iced tea option was Thai tea, so I went with that, and it hit the spot—nice and refreshing, wrapped up well for the road.
I also ordered their cream cheese, jalapeño, and bacon croissant. It came out hot in under 5 minutes, and it was 🔥. The bacon was crispy, the croissant fresh, and everything had good flavor. While I was waiting, more customers started coming in, but the lady at the register handled the rush smoothly after finishing up my order.
Total came out to around $11.67. They also have smoothies, frappes, and full breakfast options—I got the #2, but I think the #1 is the more popular pick. Overall, a solid stop for a quick breakfast or drink. Gloomy morning...
