This restaurant is conveniently located across from the high school in Long Beach. It is a very large establishment.. They have a very busy menu see pictures. They left no stone unturned. Just about any thing that is Mexican. Text Mex and yes, a large variety of seafood items are on the menu. Now this particular instance who ever made their salsa it was a little bit too hot for my liking that was OK if it was paired on top of your food it was perfect.. portion size is excellent, the ingredients are fresh! From the tomatoes to the guacamole, everything was superb! The staff they were very friendly our waitress greeted us with a smile and promptly took our drink order no waiting ! They were packed. I was very impressed by the service which reflected in the tip … Your food comes out fresh and hot. Also ordered a margarita on the rocks and a frozen margarita. Both were very tasty, complemented our meal. The atmosphere was wonderful.. definitely would recommend this restaurant to anybody and everybody this location is on point no problems or issues were found! In addition, they are kid friendly, which is a plus for families wanting good food that’s not plastic😀 With lots of events, getting ready to happen in Long Beach … give them a try you will not be disappointed!!!!!

If you're looking for a nice place to have dinner or lunch El Saltillo's is it. We were quickly seated and waited on by our waiter Luis, he was very pleasant and helpful. We shared an half plate of Nachos al Carbón, which was a super savory appetizer. The steak was so tender and full of flavor. We ended up ordering the Burrito Bandera (giant burrito covered in a light layer of queso and verde salsa), the Carnitas and the Chimichanga meal (chicken). Our meal came out very expediantly, everything was delicious and hot. The restaurant was very clean and had a very chill and relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely come back next time we are in town.

Great place! Food was delicious and the margaritas were strong. We got the 27oz drinks for $6.75 special! One drink was enough per person for how well they were made! Our fajitas were delicious and we had enough for leftovers! Our server was good and checked on us often! The salsa here was a little spicy but delicious! I had to request a second bowl! Overall, a great place with decent prices and serving sizes! I want to bring my family here when they come into town to visit.

I had to edit my original 5 Star review to a 1 Star. When the manager isn’t present the service is absolutely horrible, extremely slow and food is mediocre at best. When the manager is there working the front everything goes smooth and service is better; however, when he isn’t there it seems to be Kaotic, horrible service and super slow. My family and I had an extremely RUDE server this past Sunday around 2:30-3:00. (Older gentlemen server that’s been there a while) He was not attentive at all, chips and salsa weren’t brought out until 15 min of being seated. Order was taken 30 min after sitting only because we stared him down, cheese dip came out cold 5 min before our food arrived with no chips. Asked server to take if off our bill bc we had no chips with it (even when I asked for some but never received any) and he rudely grabbed it and threw it on the table behind us with out saying a word or apologizing. Instead he grunted when I asked to take the “appetizer” served 5 minutes before food came out with no chips off our bill. Food came out wrong after waiting an hour for it, never once apologized, instead gave us attitude and had a smug look on his face. He also never came back to our table after dropping off the food and ignored us. I went up to pay (since we never got a bill) and while he was ringing me up he didn’t say a word to me and handed me the bill, with no apology whatsoever about the super slow service, no chips for cheese dip and the food that came out wrong. My chicken fajitas were so tough/dry and rubbery and veggies were served black and burnt to a crisp I didn’t eat any of it. Such a shame, we used to eat here about once or more a week. You lost good paying customers and it seems like, reading over reviews, you’ve lost others as well do to the poor service. We’ve moved on to visit the other Mexican restaurants in LB, with happy servers and excellent food! Im happy to give them my money, not this restaurant with blatantly rude service. (Of course.....Only when the manager...

Very rude management. My husband got shrimp fajitas and my daughter got shrimp tacos. When we got the food, it was burnt. (The grill needed to be cleaned) The onions and bell peppers had black gristle from the grill all over them and we asked for the manager. The manager came over and my husband told him “this food (and showed him what we were talking about) is burnt and the grill needs to be cleaned, we want these two entrees (that we did not eat) off our bill”. The manager did not say a word. He grabbed my daughter’s plate and threw it on top of the fajita skillet and took off while speaking in Spanish to our waitress to take it off our ticket. Then, as we sat there waiting for the check, a DIFFERENT lady starts to come clear the rest of our table off like we weren’t there. (I was waiting for a box for my food, which was fine). When we got our ticket there was a side of guacamole on there for $3.25. We did not order guacamole, it comes with the fajitas so I told our waitress “guacamole comes with fajitas, we didn’t order a side of it”. The manager storms over and says “why don’t you want to pay for the guacamole!?” I spoke up this time and said “fajitas come with it, we did not order it as a side” he nods his head in an agreeing manner and takes the receipt and walks away and then waits for us to come check out. I put the cash and ticket on the counter, he pulls the change out very fast and hands me the change all unorganized and disorderly. Extremely rude management, will NEVER be back to that El Satillo location. We love OS, downtown Gulfport and...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Mexican restaurant, where the star of the show was undoubtedly the "California Super Burrito." From the moment it arrived at the table, the tantalizing aroma teased my taste buds, promising a culinary adventure.

The California Super Burrito was a masterpiece, artfully wrapped in a warm, soft tortilla. Upon the first bite, I was greeted with a medley of flavors and textures that sent my taste buds into a delightful frenzy. The succulent grilled chicken, seasoned to perfection, was tender and juicy, blending seamlessly with the creamy guacamole and melted cheese.

What set this burrito apart was the inclusion of fresh, crisp vegetables, including lettuce, tomatoes, and red onions, offering a satisfying crunch that complemented the savory elements. The rice and beans were cooked just right, adding a comforting foundation to the vibrant flavors of the filling. The drizzle of tangy salsa added a zesty kick that elevated the entire experience.

The portion size was generous, ensuring that every bite was a delightful journey through Mexican culinary expertise. The California Super Burrito was not only a feast for the taste buds but also a visual delight, bursting with colorful ingredients that highlighted the restaurant's commitment to quality and authenticity.

Overall, the California Super Burrito at this Mexican restaurant is a must-try for any aficionado of Mexican cuisine. The flavors, the presentation, and the overall dining experience exceeded my expectations, leaving me eager to...
