QuarterDeck Bar — Restaurant in Long Beach

I brought 5 people in and we ordered 4 tacos per person. Just like everyone else was ordering. We also had an open tab at the bar and we're ordering drinks for everyone. The cook decided to come from out of the kitchen and tell me and my family that we need to go to Taco Bell if we want that many Tacos. He can't afford to be providing food (which we paid for) because he doesn't have enough to go around.

I explained to him that we were just trying to support small business and he said that he didn't care, he didn't have enough.

My two sons heard everything and didn't understand why someone would want us to go to Taco Bell instead of being here. They felt that they were being made fun of for eating four tacos.

Every time we come here we have an average of $115.00 tab. They just happened to have tacos the day...

Depends on what bartender is working if the bald owner is there it’s not the vibe… I called him, sir one time and he got an attitude because apparently that’s disrespectful and he’s not that old

My favorite definitely has to be the owner son. He’s amazing at karaoke. And the Asian bartender with black hair 10/10 there’s been many times where I’ve walked out because he wasn’t working

When you live in a small town like Long Beach, there’s not a lot of options just know if you go before 8 PM it’s going to be the regulars that are alcoholics

Best local spot with two pool tables, jukebox, dart board, and daily drink specials. Daytime is laid back with a cute little bartender who was very friendly. Basic bar food done right, with a taco Tuesday and a Wing Wednesday. Non smoking inside, but a furnished porch area to accommodate.

Nights at this place are F.U.N. The open layout makes for great social interaction, without the usual “clicks” forming. The owner is a blast, and he’s there to party with the rest of us. The WHOLE snack of a bartender is one of the best I’ve ever seen, so you never have to wait long for a drink. Karaoke every Friday and Saturday night, hosted by an experienced KJ.
