I'm going way beyond five stars 100 stars for 100 percent satisfaction.i forget to take pictures. Let describe how my life for that moment in time was. We pull up through drive through already (I was in are seeing my doctor) i had such a good feeling of relaxation which is something not often. My sister drove me to my appt. We order a very hard decision because everything sounded so magnificent. I get the ham and eggs a side of zucchini and onion rings with ranch. I know sounds strange when my meal was breakfast let me tell you the food was exquisite beyond my own ability to try to sa vcd e some for later (not happening and didnt ever take place) the food alone was massive i mean so enormous that saving for later wasnt even an issue. But with each and every bite of my ham steak(fit for a king) with my over easy eggs cones with three, and half of a container of hashbrowns i didnt request a specialorder this order it is how they do it in L.A. made me unable to stop as with each bite my stomach growled for more not ever wanting to end. Then I ate.the entire half order of zucchini and onion rings feeling like if anyone would ask for one I may start to growl.(lol) my sister ordered a steak sandwich and pastrami sandwich fries Which she experienced the same feeling as I. So now I'm home and had to put on my pajamas because this comfort food was what was needed for so long. To make it toy 100 stars in my world this is the cherry on the sundae the frosting on my cake. What was so intriguing about this place was the customer service the people made you feel welcomed and wanting to keep coming back. I think anyone wishing to open their own restaurant should go there and see how if u want success please see how this place from the food and the real not scripted or mandatory etc. How truly great and a pleasure it was to have stumbled across a place who has it all. It's about the good yes but when u are so kindly treated naturally then everything about you're day just keeps getting better. I dont live near by there but I would take a bus there. It's not your fancy restaurant its where u go if you...
Read moreI’ve been coming to Fantastic Burger for many years, and over time, I’ve seen the prices increase which is understandable with inflation. What’s more concerning, though, is how the customer service has steadily declined.
I genuinely love the food here. It’s one of the main reasons I’ve kept coming back for over 20 years. But lately, the service has made it harder to overlook that.
On my most recent visit, I ordered a hamburger special with only lettuce, but received a cheeseburger instead. I didn’t check the receipt right away, so I’ll own that mistake. However, when I let the cashier know, she looked confused and didn’t acknowledge the issue until I reminded her of what I had ordered. The burger was remade, but her attitude felt dismissive and as if I was inconveniencing her.
I also ordered a strawberry shake, which wasn’t made until 3:45 PM, even though my order was placed at 3:13 PM. I had to go up and ask about it, and again, the response was far from warm or apologetic. No “sorry for the wait,” just a bored expression and a silent handoff.
I get it, everyone has off days. But if you’re working in customer service, it makes a big difference when staff are friendly and attentive. If someone isn’t happy being there, it reflects in the service and really affects the customer’s experience.
The food is still great, and that’s what makes this frustrating. I want to keep supporting a place I’ve enjoyed for years, but the attitude and lack of care from the staff are making me reconsider. Management should take a closer look at how their employees are representing the business, because they truly are...
Read moreThis place used to be great. Unfortunately the food is not as good as it used to be and the SERVICE IS HORRIBLE and NOT SANITARY (that's if they even get your order correct and my last few have been wrong). I went through the drive-though and had to repeat my order multiple times. When I was waiting I observed the female manager (she said she has been the manager for 15 years) touch money then the food without washing her hands. I also observed her wipe her nose with her hand and then touch the food. When I pulled up to the window my order was wrong and I asked if there was a problem with the speaker. The manager then WENT OFF (you could tell it was late and she was not in a good place to be dealing with customers, not paying attention needing things repeated several times and STILL GOT THE ORDER WRONG). Of course I assumed there was a problem with the speaker in the drive through, but it was actually the manager who is the problem. The cooks know what they are doing but the communication between the girls that take the orders and the cooks is lacking (it's been this way for a few months now with the girls taking the orders seeming overwhelmed) I have reported the violations I observed (not just this one time) to the health department then I threw my food in the trash where it belonged! I recommend the one on Studebaker in Long Beach instead, they have been very consistent for over 25 years and have never let me down. AVOID THE ONE ON CHERRY, IT'S NOT WORTH...
