I think it was when I went Tuesday, 20APR2021, that I asked while placing my order in the drive through whether they still had apple fritters. The young lady confidently told me yes, they did. When I got to the pick up window, however, they said that they were out of fritters and offered me a pie or cookies (or something else, I don't remember). At first I didn't want either, but finally I decided to go for pie. Now, mind you the fritter cost $1.99+tax, so $2.13 or $2.14. The pie cost about $1.50-something after tax. Well, imagine my surprise when not only did they not offer me two pies as a kind gesture for their screw up, but also they didn't even offer to refund the difference between the fritter and the pie. Now I know it might seem petty because it's only a $.60 difference, but it's MY sixty cents, and every bit of change ads up to another drink or meal! And not only that, but when I asked the young lady at the pickup window if I was supposed to just take the loss, she (almost enthusiastically) said, "Yeah!". I was done. I didn't have time to argue or request a refund or the difference or anything because I was on a short lunch, and I didn't want to hold up the line any longer, but I was NOT happy. Anyway, the other complaint is that the fries were almost cold and my Big Mac was not even warm. To boot, the young lady at the window overfilled my cup and proceeded to pour out the excess and give me the cup without wiping all of the sugary drink off of the cup. It was a mess. The entire ordeal was a mess. But because this particular location is only 5 minutes from my job, I unfortunately will go back and hope for the best. Read moreI have been a server for about 8 years and I currently work for a company that has started a review contest on Google plus and have recently realized the gratification I get from the positive reviews I received over the last few weeks, so, I have decided to pay it forward! Last night I visited your hwy 90 long beach location at around 10:55pm. The lady that took my order was nice, but I have to give a major applause for the man working the food window. It was late, and I'm sure he had been there for awhile, but he was the most pleasant person I came across ALL DAY!! He had the best smile and very up beat. He asked how I was doing and told me that they dropped some fries for my order to make sure they were fresh. (Which I usually have to request, but he did it on his own, genuinely concerned about customer satisfaction) then he gave me my order in a very timely manner and asked if I needed any ketchup (which never happens) he then told me "thank you so much come back and see us have a blessed night!" People like this man make or break businesses and he made this one for me. I was so pleased with him I hope you read this review to him! I was so happy with my experience I came back for coffee this morning (9-1-17) and a young man showed me the same customer service. I am picky about my coffee and he made sure that I was happy before I left the drive through and asked me to try it before I drove away to make sure I was satisfied! What a great team you have! It is a very short amount of time that you spend at the food window but they make the best of it! Let them know they are much appreciated and made my day!!!!! Will be back...
Read moreWow. I don't know where to start. The girl taking orders at the drive thru had no clue what she was doing and the line stayed backed up forever. Everyone I heard before me had the same problem I had trying to explain simple orders. The guy behind me was steady cussing both the lady taking orders and myself out. Once I reached the window to pick my food up, I sat there for 15 minutes. The girl handed me my drinks (without straws) and walked away without a word. I listened to her and the other employees complain and cuss up a storm about what they had to do after work, other employees and how they weren't going to sweep and mop for the next crew. The one time she came to rhe window for a minute she was yelling back she could get another job with no problem, this one wasn't a big deal. The guy behind me started screaming asking what the f I had ordered and I asked her how much longer. With no apology she said "she's bagging it up now" and then I had to yell back at the angry guy behind me it wasn't me, it was them and I only ordered two meals.
