Very excited to find this place as the breakfast options in this area leave a bit to be desired. First, let me start by saying we were greeted with a warm welcome and an offer to have any questions about the menu answered. Service was excellent and other businesses should take note - this is how it should be done.

Coffee arrived quickly and food followed shortly thereafter. Here are my thoughts:

-Vanilla latte with oat milk was absolutely delicious. One of the best I've ever had. Would come back just for the coffee. -Biscuits are made fresh and were yummy. My husband's biscuit was burned on the bottom, so he scraped out the fluffy inside and left the burnt part. -Fried chicken was served piping hot and well-seasoned. My husband said it might be the best he's ever had. I tried a bite and would agree. -Gravy was good and well-balanced with the seasonings selected. -Pork sausage was too spicy. I appreciate that it's made in-house and definitely prefer this to pre-made or store-bought, but it's considerably spicier than regular breakfast sausage. I heard this mentioned to someone at the counter while I was eating my meal, but I wish it had been noted to me prior to ordering as I would have selected something else. Maybe a verbal "for your awareness" or a line on the menu would help? Spices from the sausage are great for flavoring the gravy, but are too hot on their own. -Egg was lightly scrambled and not overcooked. I wouldn't go for the egg on its own, but it worked when paired with the gravy. -Potatoes were not crispy and had too much salt. Would not order these again. -Though I didn't order them, I was intrigued by the sauteed greens and fruit (thank you for offering only strawberries and blueberries rather than the typical nasty under-ripe breakfast place melons).

Overall, I think they've got a good thing going here and just need some slight tweaks in order to have a perfect offering. Thank you for very clearly caring about your business and putting such effort into your...

Yum!! We tried the new Seaview Biscuit Company this morning! SO GOOD!

My 13 year old said "the gravy is on point"

Seal of approval from all 3 kids.

We are seriously so impressed and want to see this place become a Peninsula staple. For the 4 of us it cost $48 with 20% tip. We also got 3 bottles of water on top of 4 meals in that price. That's less than it would cost us to get a McDonald's breakfast and the quality was obviously 100 times better.

It was busy as we expected seeing as it was opening day. You seat yourself, and order up at the counter. There was a line of about 4 in front of us, you can see them making the biscuits fresh from your spot in line. Ordering was honestly really quick especially considering it was the first day, I want to say we waited less than 5 minutes. Our food was out to us within 10 minutes. We loved the artwork/photography around the dining area as well. When we left the house we expected that we'd be waiting an hour or longer to get a seat so we're pleasantly surprised that we were able to sit down right away even with it being a full house, we got the last table, they were pumping out food quick enough that everyone who came after us was able to find a table with no wait.

They are open 7am-1pm everyday except they are closed on Wednesdays. 10/10 would recommend. Please go...

Seriously, hands down one of the best breakfast places i have been to in Long Beach! I have been coming to Long Beach for years and never stopped to have breakfast at this little joint. Its atmosphere is clean, warm and so friendly. Noelle was our cashier, server, and barista, and her warm, caring, and genuinely gregarious personality shined and really helped make our experience so incredible. Now let's talk about the food... oh my gosh...DELICIOUS! As a born and raised southerner who likes her biscuits and gravy, I am super judgy; however, I can't wait to go back for more. The gravy flavor was spot on with its touch of spices and bits of sausage. The sausage patty was also a delight on the palette and not overwhelming with the spice. Yet the true winner were those house-made biscuits, warm soft inside with that golden outside...mmmmm. From now on, this will be our go to place for breakfast. Coffee - doesn't have a bitter aftertaste like so many coffee places do, it's a real nice mellow flavor. Again, this will be our number 1 spot...

Iโ€™ve heard a lot of great things about this new community staple. The fried chicken breakfast plate was a plenteous and savory experience. I tried the steamed greens and seasoned potatoes because I heard both were amazing. I must say, the flavor profile was unique, and a bit too intense, so pairing with a plain biscuit with jam helped balance it out. If you need an affordable (for Peninsula prices) and filling brunch, this is your spot! The homey classic vibe is bright and welcoming. As for family friendliness, our kids love the food - even though there are no kids plate options. The breakfast plates are filling enough to share with young ones. There are a couple high hairs and a booster available, but the dining area is small and crowded, so children with sensory issues may be overstimulated. The single all gender restroom is clean, has a changing table and even a step stool for littles to reach the hand washing sink. We are grateful for this business coming to our community and will be sure to visit again.

When I am out looking for coffee, breakfast or just any sort of impromptu local adventure, I look for high quality eats & good energy. ๐ŸŒ€๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ This is the high vibe โšก๏ธ you get when you speak with a person โ˜•๏ธ, enter a venue or a nature based place and you feel like you received a jolt of joy. ๐Ÿ’› Thatโ€™s how I felt when I met Doug @ Seaview Biscuit Co. I had seen this home base of biscuits and gravy highly recommended in this group. I had passed by previously when it was closed, but today as I finished early morning dusk photography in Ilwaco โš“๏ธ๐Ÿšข, I noticed their parking lot full. (See hours among images below) I parked in an overflow lot, and decided to order their rosemary fried chicken ๐Ÿ“, biscuits and gravy, homemade potatoes and eggs ๐Ÿณmy Sunday morning splurge. Loved it! My favorite was the fried chicken and of course the gravy lathered light biscuits. And then there is Doug and crew, big smiles, great food, big, big high frequency energy. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ
