I came to Tracy's based off all the positive reviews, however my experience was not great. I would most definitely avoid coming here for breakfast.
We came in on a Sunday day morning and immeditely found to two seats at the bar, the booths and tables were somewhat filled with probably around 12-15 people inside. There was no music on and no volume on the TVs, the restaurant was eerily quiet.
We ordered two bloody mary's to start. I would be shocked if someone told me that the guy behind the bar had been bartending for more than a day. Both bloody Mary's were nearly black since the bartender put so much worsecterschire sauce and A1 sauce, on top of that instead of using a shaker for the celery salt the bartender used one of the huge kitchen size seasoning bottles. Both bloody Mary's were undrinkable. We asked if he could cut them with water or tomato juice. He offered to make us new ones and joked " I didn't know if I should give them to you because they didn't look right." It was clear he didn't know what he was doing because he started to to through the same process of adding way too much of each ingredient. Once we noticed what he was doing we asked him to stop and just use the premade mix. He knew the ingredients that needed to be added but had no idea on the amount of each to be added.
After a few minutes of trying to choke down our second attempt at a bloody Mary the bartender brought us each a fork. Not a fork and a knife just a fork. And then a few minutes later our food came out. My wife's breakfast bun sandwich had enough mayonnaise on it for 4 sandwiches. Both orders of our hash browns we're incredibly greasy.
Neither of us made it more than halfway through our meal before starting to feel gross. And needless to say we're I'll the...
Read moreI'm not going to go too hard on them since it was the dodger game, but it literally took 1 hour to get our food which was appetizers nachos with a side of guac and potato skins or one potato as it's called on the menu, it was hard to get drinks refilled, waitress was all over the place stressed out she had a huge section it was not her fault, she was very nice but the service was awful but it wasn't her fault they were understaffed, so that's how management not her. The nachos were burnt and I could tell they had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while, a long while, because the cheese had gotten almost gelatinous, they were not hot, neither were the potato skins the same with the cheese it was not melted it was just hardened from sitting under the heat lamp! Which means there was no runners, so the food sat under the heat light for a very long time I could tell I know this because I am a cook and I also work front of house at curly's Cafe. All in all it was out and...
