YUCK!WORST PIZZA IN LONG BEACH. Dont believe the hype! The only reason I rated this place as a one is because I couldn't rate it a zero.In my opinion, the pizza is overpriced, hard as a rock and bland. After I ate there my stomach hurt. Not sure about the other ratings because it's a hole in the wall. Likely buddy reviews. They decorated one pole of the restaurant with Christmas lights last Christmas...hard times? Lol, I suppose. I wouldn't waste my money here, don't fall for reviews of friends. It's all about the pizza. Either it's got it or it don't. IT DONT š From my experience to be honest staff can be pretty rude. Nobody has time for that, too many pizza choices out there.I would recommend a classier place like Michael's Restaurant for authentic Italian, Big E's is a great option too, famous for their pizza or any OTHER pizza spot for that matter š. Owner is an old cranky guy, always staring weirdly at kids that come in and out of there. I got an uncomfortable feeling about that. Not recommending, nor to let kids go there alone. Frankly anywhere else is just a better choice in my opinion. But if you're going to insist on sending your kids anyway, make sure not alone. I asked some of the kids eating outside how he treated them, if he was nice and they mentioned the staring too and said they didnt feel confortable so they always eat outside when they come there. I don't trust it at all. Came across as creepy vibes. Always safety first, especially with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWell, it is no secret that I struggle with a love/hate relationship with sugar and carbohydrates. Finding a great N.Y. style pizza place within walking distance of my apartment is always a top ten "must accomplish" upon any relocation. I have driven past Valentino's at least 300 times to and from home, off and on the island never taking the time to stop in to check out the menu. Well, this weekend I followed through on my New Year's resolution to be more spontaneous and try restaurants yet to be explored. And to my amazement, not only did this place have really awesome and delicious slices of pie at reasonable prices, they also had super healthy options and a robust kid's menu and the option for local delivery. Always follow your gut instinct...I don't know why I had yet to try that little place out, but I was not disappointed with my sample of Supreme and Greek Mediterranean styled pizza slices with a diet coke. It's conveniently located next to Carmen's, so you can get your car detailed while you eat, then pick up a biscotti and cappuccino when you pick up your car....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOk, I havenāt written a review of any place in a long time but I have got to hand it to this Valentinoās group. You guys are so sweet, so attentive to our door dash details. Iām pretty sure they recognize our name now lol. Thatās probably good or bad. I have to say that nights where Iām just way too tired to cook for myself and my three little gremlins and hubs and trying to get homework done, you all have really saved me. Thank you very much and keep being the sweetest pizzeria ever. Weāve been to Florida, Ohio, Kansas, Texas, Nevada and none come close to your pizza and kindness. Beyond 5 stars āļø
P.S. when we first moved here, we got to try it in person and weāre just randomly looking for a place after a day of adventuring to see our surroundings. The manager saw our little family and gave our little guys free ice treats and us too. Since that first day. Youāve been our go...
