Nice place to walk, only issue is trying to enter, you must go all the way down marine stadium and go through a little entrance on the side of the rowing center. It is a nice short walk and is well maintained. Great place to walk your dogs.

The city allows developers to pave over the wetlands with ‘Mc Mansions’, they leave .001% of the wetlands undeveloped, and they put up a giant sign saying how important the natural environment is. Go figure (?).

A hidden treasure in Long Beach! Orange County Coastkeeper has been working with CSULB and CSUF to restore the oysters and eelgrass, and it looks great! You have to stay on the pier because 1) you'll trample the animals and 2) the mud is really thick. Be careful with the railings of the pier, though, and don't lean against them. They're made of fiberglass, and you WILL get tiny shards of glass...
