John's Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in Long Branch

Ordered this under GrubHub, though they have a different name there called "Krispy Krunchy Chicken." I waited two hours for my delivery to come, and finally called the restaurant. A man picked up and told me they "aren't delivering today." When asked why he never contacted my cell phone number (provided to GrubHub and given to them) he said simply that "his boss wasn't here" and he couldn't contact me. So I waited two hours for food that didn't come, was never coming, and they never even told me. Piss poor place that doesn't even advertise their correct name across ordering platforms. Hands down, one of the best tortas I've had in a long time! I was stuck in the hospital for 24 hours, starving and desperate for a good meal. Luckily, I stumbled upon this gem while searching online. As soon as I walked in, I was blown away by the vast options - usually, that would overwhelm me, but this place exudes confidence in their cooking.

I came here a couple weeks ago with my kids, sister, and nephews. We had a rough day on an adventure to the beach via train. After stumbling across this pizzeria our whole day turned around. It had been soooooo long since I’ve had a pizza that tasted so delicious. We bought two pies and I swear if I didn’t have the kids with me I would of ate it all by myself.
