WISH — Local services in Long Branch

I was in the Pier village area today and made a stop at Wish to speak to the Owner about a potential business collaboration, however I do not like the way I was treated by their manager. A blonde woman with short hair I was introduced to (who I’m sure was not the owner) was very mean and disrespectful to me. I had reached out my hand to introduce myself and what I’m about, but she couldn’t even give me a genuine handshake, like she’s disgusted with me or something and quickly pulled her hand giving me an attitude. I’m a business woman myself, I have an online boutique for women clothing but that’s not how I treat people. I could have been a potential buyer, and this woman was very rude and literally wanted me to get out of her face. She has no people skills whatsoever, no personality and it’s so sad to have a manager like this on your team. I’m disappointed because I have read great reviews on here and I’m sure the owner of the store is a nice person. This is coming from one businesswoman to another & a potential customer, I never go around leaving bad reviews on the internet but I believe great customer service is everything, and people are important, otherwise we won’t be in business. And she never gave me a chance to know who I am! We should support each other rather than tear...

The name of the store is ‘Wish’. I now ‘wish’ I had never gone in! On November 5th I purchased a sweater and a ‘Prada’ knockoff bag for $128. The sales person was very friendly, but never made mention of their return policy. I decided to return the bag, because I decided that I did not want a knockoff Prada bag after all. I returned 6 days later, because the receipt read that you only had 7 days for returns. The salesperson person said that accessories and jewelry were not returnable. She told me I should have read the receipt. First of all, she should have told me; second of all that’s not how the receipt reads.

I called her and said that now I wanted to return the sweater, and she said ‘All sales are final’ That’s not what the receipt says!!! Terrible store/staff/owner policy! I would advise shoppers to be very cautious of this merchant’s deceitful actions! There’s a reason why they were gone from Pier Village for a few years!...

Lovely boutique, but horrible service / overpriced items. Purchased a beautiful dress that I loved, went back and purchased another dress for $128 the next day which didn’t fit.I then asked “management” for an exchange and they said all sales were final. That being said, I found the SAME dress NWT online for $32. I got ripped off and they wouldn’t even give me an exchange or a merchandise credit 4 hours later !! Saddening because if they would have done the right thing from the beginning I would’ve been a repeat customer spending a lot of $. I never write reviews, but I personally feel the need to express my disgust over the way the situation was handled. The owner should reach out and contact me directly but I was told the owner “can’t be notified” which is absurd. Horrid...
