Sergio’s Restaurant and Burger Long Branch — Restaurant in Long Branch

I went yesterday, August 30th. Upon arrival, no one greeted us because everyone was outside shopping for clothes. After waiting for them to make their purchases, they told us to take any table. We ordered two hamburgers, and the meat arrived almost cold. The bun and the rest of the inside, like the bacon, sauce, and vegetables, were cold, as if they had just been taken out of the refrigerator. As for the service, the person who took our order never returned until another guy brought us our order. The bread was cold.

They bring you the sauces and only if you ask for them, and they are very cold since they were in the refrigerators, but together with how cold the food is, the experience is terrible.

In summary: there was no staff to serve or receive customers at lunchtime, the vegetables were fresh but not at room temperature, they were totally cold from the fridge as were the bacon and the bread (maybe they were very close to an air current) and the meat inside the burger was not hot it was almost cold. Maybe it took extra time because they had other more important things the employees to do. At least one of all the employees was still trying to serve the tables that were not his as he did with us

I went in and asked the young lady before placing my order do they accept apple pay she said yes I placed my order and she directed me to a young man that was supposed to take payment. He fiddled with the computer for about 10 min. Then another guy came over & start playing with the computer and the other walked off. Long story short I stood there for 15 min trying to make payment and was not able to because their computer screen and equipment was broken. No one apologized for the inconvenience or anything. I love going to Sergio's in Philly, but I had a bad experience ordering from the Long Branch location. I ordered on their website for delivery and the site said there was no delivery fee. When the delivery driver arrived after more than an hour, he said I owed a $20 delivery fee, which was totally unexpected and on top of the $7 tip I had already paid. We called the restaurant and they said we should have called them before ordering to see what the delivery fee was.
