Peninsula Games — Local services in Long Branch

I attended a Commander night here recently. I didn't know what to expect, having never attended an event like this before, but I was able to jump into a game almost immediately. The owner, Kevin, was very welcoming and so were the players. I had a great time and would recommend it to anyone interested in playing Magic. I also asked about pricing on the latest collector box pre-orders, and it was right in line with TCGplayer prices, which is great considering the next closest shop in the area is charging $40 more for the same box. Great store and staff, they were very knowledgeable on all the products i asked about even ones they didn’t yet have in stock yet, the atmosphere here is just the perfect hobby store when you come in you don’t wanna leave, they had a great selection of games and cards in the store and even store copy’s of the games so you can brake them out and try them first, they host home pretty awesome game nights so definitely a perfect 5 stars, hands down my new favorite hobby store, great job guys looking forward to coming...

I never post reviews, but this place is just the best. The staff are all incredibly friendly, inclusive, knowledgeable, and patient. I have personally seen them take a significant amount of time to teach a seven year old boy how to play a game of magic the gathering, and that takes patience. There is always a group of people playing games there, having fun. All different ages, too. And the prices are reasonable, too. Cheaper than some other hobby stores in the area....
