Marcy's Kitchen — Restaurant in Long Hill Township

Love this restaurant. Casual and very friendly atmosphere. My son who is an extremely picky eater loves the beef nachos. The nachos are homemade, super crispy and topped with a large serving of ground beef and cheese. The nachos are very addictive. The beef tostada's are also recommended. It comes with two large round crispy shells topped with bits of grilled steak and a homemade cheese kinda like mozzarella cheese along with shredded lettuce and avocado. Small sides of sour cream, salsa, and guacamole came with the meal. Everything we've tried here has been made fresh to order. If you are expecting Taco Bell (don't get me wrong I can go for a Doritos Loco taco every so often) this may not be the place for you but if you want to try authentic Mexican food from a specific area of Mexico then I would highly recommend this place. Lost a customer. I called 10 minutes before ordering to ask if chips and salsa came with a pickup order as to not order these items if so. I was told by a man on the phone that yes chips and salsa came with an order. Therefore chips and salsa were not ordered. Upon arriving home chips and salsa were not in the bag.

I went back to this establishment and shared calmly and straightforwardly the situation. I was abruptly asked by a woman (possibly the owner?) what the issue was. She showed the receipt stating chips and salsa were not ordered. I explained the issue at least three more times. She was not at all understanding or apologetic. She aggressively put chips on the counter. When asked for the salsa as well she reluctantly got it and aggressively placed it on the counter.

Please correctly train the staff and work on respecting...

Clear location, decently sized parking lot, great service. Perfect little takeout place in the area. The food was ok but I think I should have ordered different items. We got a few chicken tacos and dishes that were a bit dry. That was pretty disappointing. The chicken and cheese quesadillas were good though. Fair warning, there is a TON of cheese. Also we got the steak a La Mexicans which was absolutely delicious. Their beans and rice were also really good. The nachos were OK though I prefer melted cheese versus the queso they pour on. Definitely need to go back and try more of their menu to see if there’s anything more to my taste!
