Batch Ice Cream Scoop Shop — Restaurant in Longmeadow

The ice cream undoubtedly is the best and earns much more than 5 stars. This was my fourth visit after enjoying this brand when I used to buy it from fresh acres market. I would have given a lower rating because one of the servers were rude...it's difficult enough being a person of color wearing traditional African clothing makes us more susceptible to gawks...but to be treated unfairly where I spent over thirty dollars is in acceptable. I will not return.

Thank you for responding- which is part of why appreciate the brand. When I first had Batch over 7 years ago- I enjoyed it saw much that I emailed the company and they responded nicely. It is the best- rich-indulgent but not "sappy" sweet full-bodied I cream ever. Indeed -epic. Like I said- there were two servers, one was okay--the other totally shut down..mumbled some disgruntled comment to the other...which I couldn't interpret. Oddly enough, the white family they were serving at the same time they both were very gracious....and totally packed the ice cream into a "a whole darn pint"---took their time with these customers and were quite gracious. My wife and my experience was the total opposite: I bought two pints and a large....the large was barely packed....and my wife ordered a cone cup...with two measly scoops-- and said: "I'm done" - the ruder service seemingly sensed something was wrong...but rolled her eyes and looked at us unfavorably. This attitude continued to the cash register with me, at which time she did not put spoons in my bag nor napkins....not even a thank you....she just walked away after my card cleared. Listen- I run a large community organization in Springfield that serves a diverse group of people I firmly believe that all are treated with respect and honor because we are not the only service agency- so we are happy that you came to us. That is my montra. One thing is that I can decide where to spend my money. Again, the brand is great--my experience yesterday has left a negative impression upon me and my wife and could not imagine patronizing that Batch parlor again. Please get...

Well I would like to say 👒🥳 hats off to Dave and Deb... I cant thank them both for truly exemplifying the meaning of customer care, customer service , and the customer is always right 👍👍 2 thumbs up.. I had never had a situation like the one I had 1st encountered, but never came across a better response to customer complaint in my life, I never even thought a owner would publicly post an apology and THEIR private phone 📱 number to make things ✅ right. I FELT redeeemed and heard I trusted that things would change and even convinced my boyfriend to go back 😕 and he doesn't usually offer second chances especially considering but BRAVO! 2 huge high fives to the ladies who waited on me and my boyfriend during a redemption run this afternoon . BOTH were super helpful, super friendly, 👌 exactly💯 percent 👏the experience I expected to recieve at a high quality ice cream location. The ice cream was even more delicious because there was no judgement leaving a bad taste. 😋 We came and even with the more enjoyable experience we were able to bring a pint home 🏡 and found out not only do they carry puppy ice cream but they would even allow my furbaby in the store. I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK AND TRY THE BANANA WALNUT SOOOOOOON ....

Delicious no frill ice cream!!! Finally a chance out to Western Mass we made a detour just to come here. Hot apple cider float with a scoop of vanilla is divine. The caramelized banana walnut and Mexican chili chocolate almond is so creamy and flavorful without all the additive and gums that i despise (esp gummy ice cream texture -- absolutely no--its suppose to be creamy). The nuts in it really make the flavor shine in texture and taste. I have a hard time finding the banana in supermarket but i am so glad to finally try it. All their flavors are really unique and delicious.

The staff was very enthusiastic.
