El Cancun, where the locals choose to dine. Probably the best Chili Rellenos we’ve ever eaten. My husband and I spotted this gem nestled inside a former Taco Bell building while we were lost and hungry. El Cancun Tacos y Mariscos was a welcome discovery. The staff was friendly, the food delicious, hot sauce was HOT, and the mild sauce was tasty. This is a good, AUTHENTIC, Mexican seafood joint. It made me reminisce about my years spent in Houston. Brush up on your Spanish before going, because that's what the menu is written in, with little to no English translation. Waitress spoke broken English, but that's exactly what makes these places special. I had the shrimp in a butter sauce. Very tasty and fresh. My buddy had the shrimp cocktail and he was very pleased.
