El Pollo Cachuchon — Restaurant in Longview

I visited the location on the loop today and they were EXTREMELY unprofessional. I frequent their regularly but today I walked in and all 3 workers were sitting after finishing eating. I spoke and they busted out laughing and started talking in Spanish, and they remained seated while I stood there waiting to place my order. They didn't move until they were ready ( including the older lady who should lead by example). I started to walk out because this behavior makes no sense at all. Another Black guy came in after me, and another one who was just standing there waiting to be acknowledged, but the young girl said absolutely nothing to him and yep he turned around and walked out. We live on their side of town, but I think that we'll go back to this location on Green st. where we're treated with respect always.We keep them in business as everyone else and shouldn't be treated as a joke or less than. I wish the other lady who used to work there was there; the service was better and more professional; I've never had this type of issue at this location before. I hope they fix this problem before they have little business from Black customers at this location or none at all.Then I get home only to have burnt peppers and pepper stems, no limes or onions. HORRIBLE! started out with ok customer service then after we started eating a 2inch lizzard came out from under the paper towels. My daugther got scared and my wife and kids did to. The lady asked what was wrong and we told her but she didnt seem to care. After i grabbed the lizzard i trew it away the lady came over and said that there was no way they had lizzards brcause they keep it clean but thru out the whole time she made us feel like we where the ones that brought the lizzard in or did something wrong. At no point in time did she apoligize or try to fix the situation she seem more offended that it came out once leaving she didnt say sorry or anything. Food was dried up and bad taste to it. Chicken was dried up and it looked old with a horrible taste. This was our first time going there and the expirance was HORRIBLE. dont waste ur time or money on this place. WASTE...

Wow! Husband surprised me and brought home tacos from this place. First time we had ever tried them, but we've heard a lot of amazing things about this place a few times. Tacos were very flavorful and food was delicious. The salsa reminded me of salsa I used to eat in Mexico when I was a child.

They make their own tortillas on site and you can definitely taste the difference in the quality of food. The only negative about the tacos is that they only used one tortilla and since there tortillas are still fresh, it falls apart super easy once you place your toppings on it.
