They have very limited hours lately because Big Mama had health issues, but she still wants to continue to serve the community. The hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 6 days a week (closed Saturdays) and that's it. The best thing to do is get there early so you can get what you want because they do stop serving fried food just before closing and you're stuck with just whatever is left around. With that said, the food is absolutely amazing. The portions are generous and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxing. You really feel like you're sitting at your granny's table on a Sunday afternoon enjoying some great home cooking. We had one plate with meatloaf macaroni and cheese and potatoes with gravy. The meatloaf and the potatoes and gravy were so delicious. The macaroni and cheese for me just wasn't what I enjoyed. It wasn't bad but it just something that I wouldn't order again. We also had a plate of chicken spaghetti with a side of purple hule peas and mac and cheese. This was husband approved and he loved everything about it. The third plate was chicken tenders with mac and cheese and french fries. This was definitely kid approved and very much enjoyed.

It will be difficult to spot this place from the road if you aren’t already in the know, but we can confirm that the few minutes off the highway and any U-turns will be completely worth the fittingly divine experience of eating here. We stopped here on a road trip and were greeted with friendly staff, an extensive menu, and an assortment of fans and an air-conditioning unit somehow mostly fending off the summer heat. Takeout seemed very speedy, but the sit-down area was much appreciated (table service, pay up front after your meal). We ordered two fried catfish plates and fried pork chops. Absolutely incredible. The fish was thin and crispy, made even more perfect with the homemade tartar sauce. The pork chop was both crisp and juicy with just the right amount of breading. Highly recommend the purple hull peas, fried okra, corn, and mashed potatoes (the brown gravy is key!) for sides. All the portions were generous without being overwhelming, and service was attentive and welcoming. As we left, we were told to have a safe trip and come back soon—rest assured, we will be happy to!

Loved loved the food. The folk that work there are very nice. I can’t remember the guy with the shaved heads name but he was very engaging with a big smile. I saw their post on one of Longviews Facebook pages about them having Chitterlings on New Year’s Eve my wife wanted some to bring in New Year’s so I stopped there to buy some. We also got a 5pc catfish dinner w/two sides and beef tips and rice w/two sides. All was delicious. My wife has to watch her salt intake so it was good it wasn’t over salted. I added a little salt to mines. Even the cornbread was good. Next time and there will be a next time we’ll try their desserts

This review is strictly about the food truck. I can’t leave a zero star so 1 it is. Absolute terrible communication trying to setup to serve a customer appreciation event we host annually. We were persistent because the restaurant food and service (at Mobberly location) are always top notch, delicious and a crowd favorite. Many great meals there. We finally received a soft confirmation they were coming to today’s event a couple weeks ago. Feeling suspicious that things weren’t quite right we called yesterday to confirm they were coming and was told “I don’t know why he wouldn’t show up.” ?? So we wait to see today and at 10 minutes before the event started and the Divine Catering food truck was not there we called again. The owner said he forgot to put our event on the calendar but he was loading the truck for something else and he would be right there. Never did show. No call, no apology. Obviously will not get a return invite. Very frustrating. And I never leave reviews but this can’t be left unnoticed. Be warned and careful if you want to try their food truck service. I’ll say again, the Mobberly location restaurant is wonderful and I’ll continue to frequent that...

Decided to try this place again after reading the article on Facebook . I once had their chicken spaghetti to go . I liked the chicken spaghetti but not their macaroni and cheese . The pepper was over kill. So today I tried their chicken fried chicken with mashed pot and gravy and corn . I requested the gravy on the side . The corn was canned as the mashed pot were instant . The fried chicken however was so dry I couldn’t even eat it . I left very with almost all my food .I figured since they won so many wards they had homemade food . That was not the case here . Instant food now get awards ? I’m kinda shocked . The corn bread was good the first time but this time was very dry . Can someone please tell me why does instant food get awards ? I was wanting home cooked meals instead I got hungry Jack . I mean I would have given them credit for the chicken fried chicken but the chicken was so dry . My hubby had fried cat fish he loved it and the tartar sauce he likes . So they do have some good options but don’t expect much of it to be homemade . Nice people actually really liked them . If your coming here try the chicken spaghetti’s...
