I have two very strong criticisms for this visit, and strong as a relative term when it comes to Whataburger so just check them out please.
As usual, the food was great! But we all know that you can probably tell that there's just a little micro difference in the food now then when the good old days were here... The most important part of this visit though was the service and it wasn't good! My daughter and her boyfriend were visiting from California and I haven't seen them in 2 years because of all the crud. We're up at the front counter and we're looking at what to order, and the young lady at the register was having a conversation with someone off stage or back behind the counter and we were trying to decide what we wanted, and she stopped her conversation, held her hand up in a typical millennial cultural thing, and looked at us and said, " can I help you!" And what I just said to you took her FOUR SECONDS to say it! I looked at Nikki and Brandon and I look back at her and I said "in a minute!"So SHE SIGHED... I don't know what her deal was but we were not going to play this game. So Brandon orders and just before his orders complete , I know what she's going to say, so I say , "and ma'am this will all be on one ticket to dine in." She picks up the exact word where she lets off and says and will that be all for you, and would you like to dine in and I look at Brandon and laugh and I said go ahead Nikki. So she orders and the young lady asked her the same question so I just start ordering and she says again, "maam is at all?" I said, "did you hear what I said 5 minutes ago ? this is all on one ticket and we're dining in. SHE stops because the red in my face and the enunciation I'm practicing indicate I'm getting ready to throw a shoe!! she looks over to the side someone. He gives her something kind of cute like good advice, and her demeanor changes absolutely immediately!
At this point I look at my daughter and very conversationally so that everyone in the restaurant can hear I said do you think I should worry about my order being tampered with now or should we go somewhere else? Nikki laughs in her really cute an innocent way and says, oh come on dad they wouldn't do anything like that. I look at the lady as if to say your call baby! Your call! I pay and I've never seen faster service and the apparent store manager brings it out it doesn't say a word except enjoy your meal can I get you anything else?
Just like in the movie the 40 Year Old Virgin, I speak sarcasm and I'm right there with...
Read moreThere was two occasions that I have had a bad experience from this location. Both times were through online ordering. Both times, food was cold, took roughly 45 mins to have food. Not accounting for the time that I had sat at home giving them some time to prep the food. So from the moment I paid online through the app. I would say I spent about 1-1.5 hour of waiting for my food. The app would say it would be ready at a certain time. Both times, they tell me to stay in the drive through line like if I had just placed the order. They are the only location that has me waiting until I get to the window. The other locations actually pull me outside the line and hand me my food. Solution: If you can't provide food at the time given. Shut down your app offering services if you are just going to keep them waiting in the drive through line. Also since I would have to wait in the line. By the time I would get my food and get home. The food would be cold and watered down drinks. Both times I contacted customer service. They refunded one, but the other they didn't. Also asked for a reply as to why they are the only location they keep me waiting in the drive through lane. No response. But I won't let this one location define how the rest of them are. Just needs to spend some time thinking about...
Read moreI Think they could be a little more helpful with communication for the drive-thru especially during busy hours my order didn't come out complete, maybe it was my fault I'm 62 and I ordered five breakfast platters with gravy but I didn't get my gravy not realizing until I got home so I went back to the store to get my gravy and they said they did not charge me for it however maybe I forgot to say but I always have the sausage gravy with my biscuit they corrected when I return and did not charge me which is fine but my platter had gone cold so maybe when ordering a breakfast platter they should suggest to the customer if he wants gravy I'm just saying because old people like me just assume it's going to always be there and that's not the case in some situations but a little help from the staff can make a great difference to senior citizen and even young people during this pandemic and trying times when people's mind are not thinking very clearly before they speak just asking for a little more help but thank you Whataburger the...
