Chris' Restaurant — Restaurant in Lorain

Although this is negitive star (-9) restaurant I rated it five stars so people see this review and dont waste there time eating rotten food and getting sick........The waitress was very nice and polite however she did not pay attention to what was ordered and the meat that they served me had a rotten smell and taste after I sent it back I was completely done with their meat so I thought I'll try scrambled eggs they can't screw that up right? However to my surprise they were rushed out so fast they were runny and nasty this was the first time at this restaurant and it will definitely be my last my husband tried to order applesauce and was told they were out he then tried to order corn for his vegetable and we were told that they only do one vegetable per day and today it was green beans (how strange) our cups sat on the table empty now when you only get an 8 oz cup to begin with you would think the waitress would fill it for you especially when I asked her to fill it after eating that nasty meat she never filled it ...my family has raved on how good this restaurant is and I just don't see it this was the upmost worst restaurant experience in my whole 46 years of being alive and if a cook would serve somebody rotten meat he needs to be fired sanitation in a restaurant should be top priority when my husband could clearly smell the rotten meat across the table you can't tell me the cook didn't smell it either do yourself a favor don't waste a penny here go...

I placed a to-go order and this experience could have easily been a five-star experience if not for the careless disregard of certain servers. I asked for marmalade specifically and gave emphasis to this and did not find it in my bags. They forgot to give me the slice of pie I ordered and paid for. I also asked right before I left if there were utensils (spoon, fork, & knife) for my orders and without checking my bags, the server who got it ready said everything was in there. I guess I could have checked myself, but it's quite inconvenient to unpack everything especially since there's not a lot of room to do so. And quite honestly, if I did that, I probably would have gotten some mean stares. I know that everyone makes mistakes, but unfortunately, this has happened quite a bit. And I would like to say that there are a lot of good servers there as well who cares enough to do their best. The sad thing also is that I give a tip even when it's to go because I know they work hard and I trust that I am going to get what I ordered. So, why do I still go there, you ask? It's because the food IS good. It would be a great place if it weren't for those bad experiences . And no, I'm not expecting for my butt to be "kissed", just...

Quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. The food was decent however we had to wait forever to get a waitress to us although they kept saying they would come over. When one finally did, she said I will be honest I forgot you were here. So after looking at the menus that I had to get myself she came over really quickly and we said we need one more minute but then she forgot about us again! So after getting up to tell her we were ready she took at least another 10 minutes. I know what you are thinking. Why not just get up and leave? We had to see this through. And I regret doing so. Four of the five of us got our meals. The fifth one? Never came out. We just said pack it up. If you haven't made it we have to go. They also forgot my daughter's french fries which we said just pack those up too. You said you'd bring those out and you never did. My last two visits here have been very disappointing. It has just...
