We usually buy drinks here to support local businesses, but today I was given a caramel latte, bitter and tasteless; it was lukewarm. I didn't return immediately because I was on my way to a doctor's appointment. On the way back, I stopped by the store to get my coffee changed. I commented on the coffee's condition. I know espresso is bitter, but not to the point of having an unpleasant taste. The guy who helped me replied that the coffee was bitter. Okay, I understood. But the lack of flavor? he gave me another pointless speech. I was annoyed by the lack of customer service, so in the end, he said, "If you want, I'll make you another one." When we first went to Ambrosia six months ago, Erick welcomed us in and even suggested different brews. We ended up buying a bag of beans to make at home and share with our dad, and he actually liked it (which is wild since heās a total grump and hard to please). My sister is always down to try new coffees, but for me, itās all about the Vietnamese Coconut Latte. Itās like Cafe Sua Da meets decadent silky coconut milk (perfect for my lactose-intolerant fam) and topped with shaved coconut. Itās the ultimate caffeine fix with just the right amount...
