China Wok Express — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Been to a lot of Chinese food places in the harbor area my bf says I’m picky and rare when satisfied..were new to the city I tried Louies down the st and It was decent...I’m very big on egg rolls ..this place the lady serving us was nice and also we waited for fresh egg rolls because we wanted 4 she stated “everyone loved her egg rolls “ and wowzers I’m IMPRESSED!! Loved their egg rolls and their fried rice and chow mein were very good..yummy their orange chicken was delicious and my boyfriend rated their teriyaki chicken a 9 ...WE WILL COME BACK THIS WILL BE OUR TO GO PLACE FROM HERE ON ..since we moved out of Lomita our place was The Wok (a little out the way) this place is definitely on the top of my list...

Ever since the older ladies that used to work there for years stopped working there and got replaced by the younger girls this place has gone downhill so fast. It's a shame to leave such a great legacy of fast friendly service and great food only to have the restaurant ruined by the younger women that have no respect for the restaurant and no interest to work there. They are rude, provide terrible service, and give way smaller portions than they have been doing for years and years. I too used to come to this specific spot from far away over any other Chinese food restaurant, but I have given them many chances and they continue to dissatify...

I usually don't like to leave reviews on Google unless it's really bad or really good. Well, I'm glad I found this place! The food there is fresh and authentic. The price is very reasonable with a good portion size, especially the combos which are great value. I also tried some of their soups. They are absolutely yummy and soothing. Their service is really good too. I'm very specific about food. I asked a lot of questions on my first visit, but they were very patient and helpful. This place is now my go-to Chinese food spot.
