Birrieria Baldomeros 2 — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Was excited to find a birria spot open after work I call right after work off @6am the guy that answered told me they weren't ready 30-45mwait I said no problem still placed my order he said it will be ready in that time I said no problem took my time getting there even tho it was still out of my way finally got there still had like 30m wait waited till it had been 45m walk in told the guy n lady there I called in 2 birrias the guy just said he will get them ready so another 15m of waiting since their conversation kept them from working so finally get my food pay n leave I get home to some murky gray looking water NOoo flavor what so ever it looked like it was old boiled to kill any bad stuff and added herbs at the last minute. note. it didn't taste bad since it had no flavor the good comments help me to try this place but not gonna be a second time not worth the detour...

I know everyone's taste is different, and what some like other will not. This is a very traditional Birrieria, made the old fashioned way, tatemada with the broth added to the oven cooked meat, plain and simple, just add onions, lemon and picante, and start eating accompanied with some tortillas, and you are set. No fancy stuff, the place is very clean and I know the family is keeping the same way of making it, and I have been going there since 1979, and I have tried many places in East L. A. And they are all good as well, but this one is my favorite of all the ones in L. A. And only one will taste better, but you have to go to Guadalajara or Sahuayo to get one better, but not by much. The best "Birria" in LA. The only other place I've enjoyed this unique flavor had been in Jalisco, Mexico. My family has been eating at Baldomero's for 50 years, since the patriarch's beginnings.
