There are three pizza choices on that corner. One is 711 so itās really two. Thereās a place across the street that is decent but their slices are skimpy and about a notch down from a Digerno Ralphās frozen special. Today I tried Brooklyn Pizza. I live across the street and woke up from a long needed nap starving. I went inside the parlor and found myself face to face with the owner. I asked how much a personal pie was and he said⦠ā We donāt make thoseā. That was the first good sign. I asked for a small pie and he exclaimed āwe donāt make small piesā. Another good sign. I illustrated my experience with the shop across the street and he insured me that those types of games werenāt tolerated at his spot. I ordered two slices and a soda pop. I sat down and even before I could scratch my but he came to the table with two of the biggest, hottest, cheesiest pizzes of pie you ever seen. Iām a pepperoni and mushroom man myself ( donāt judge) and after eating some of the best pizza in LA and watching Penn State beat Iowa in the dual I found myself satisfied dining. The crust was an amazing thin crunchy yet soft slice of heaven (pardon the pun) that I ever had. Closest thing to Chitown and NYC Iāve had yet. Do not mess around elsewhere. Brooklyn Pizza is home and your Moms waiting and the street lights are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually order from this place besides pizza hut and not other popular pizza chains due to the fact that my tastebuds got bored of their pizzas and I like to try new things which is Italian/New York based pizza and I got to say, their pizza is phenomenal and is the closest thing to NY pizza. Of course, I never tried New York pizza but I still could tell the difference.
Their pizza is thin like it should be and the cheese is decent, I kinda wish it was just slightly cheesier but that will probably happen if you tell them to add extra cheese. The crust is something I don't really focus on but it's pretty alright. My personal rating for their pizza is a 4.3
After nearly two years of just ordering pizza from this place, I finally tried their Calzone because I wanted to try something new and I had a high expectation this was gonna be delicious but it had more of a "it's alright" taste. There's nothing wrong with the texture of the Calzone and it was so super cheesy, which I'm sure most people like. It's just that it needs a little more flavor and it's good to go. Personal rating: 3.0
Some pasta varieties need some work but the subs are pretty decent and their cheese cake is delicious.
EDIT: I tried the extra cheese and regretted my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBrooklyn Pizza has been my go-to pizza place for the last 5 years but recently their management has been falling apart and customer service is very disrespectful. I recently ordered delivery to my address at 7:45pm and they said it takes an hour to be delivered which is what it usually takes. After an hour I still had no pizza and called them and they said it's on the way. Well I waited and waited. No pizza! I called and called but no one was picking up. And I never got my pizza. I checked my bank account to see if I got charged and It did. The day after I called and said I never got my pizza. And I wanted my refund and the caller had a very disgusting attitude and was very rude. He claimed the pizza was delivered to the address I given him and I told him I never got the pizza. He refused to give me a refund. It's literally $20 just apologize and give the refund but no they give a rude words while I'm just trying to respectfully get them to understand that they're wrong. I am very shocked on how bottom this place has become and I won't and my Friends won't order from this place again. How dare you talk like that for a simple problem that could of easily been disputed. This place has been downhill and...
