C-frenz — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Bartender Matthew is pretty great. Karaoke on Thursday is disappointing when they choose to have it outside rather than inside. It's impossible to distance yourself when everyone is crowded into the smaller space outside. It results in me wasting my gas and time to show up, be disappointed half of the time, and then turn around and go home or further from home for a good time on a week night. If the instability in planning continues I intend to stop going, which is unfortunate because I just started going regularly for the past 8 or 9 weeks because I have some friends that are local to C Frenz and it's an easy spot to meet.

Steve the owner opened his bar and provided the food for Perry Kurtz's farewell memorial, who got run over by a hit and run 18 years old guy and got caught. Perry passed on the scene. Steve agree to do a memorial for him. Then, that's whwn I realized Steve's heart is bigger than many bar owners out there. He really cares about the community. Dirty run down place hasnt been cleaned in at least ten years. A lot of local drunks and clicky regulars. The crowd is either loud and drunk or staring at their cell phone. At least they have an outdoor patio for smokers where even with the smoke the air smells better than inside the place. Small place yet they play music so loud its like they think they are at a stadium. Place needs to close down for a week for some deep cleaning, a liitle paint and maybe fix the restroom plumbing.
