Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Los Angeles

BEWARE of this location. The manager named Mario is breaking the law by violating Vehicle Code Section 22953:

(a) An owner or person in lawful possession of private property that is held open to the public, or a discernible portion thereof, for parking of vehicles at no fee, or an employee or agent thereof, shall not tow or remove, or cause the towing or removal, of a vehicle within one hour of the vehicle being parked.

I stop here to buy food all the time through the drive-thru and this time I decided to park in the carl's Jr parking lot and went into the market next door for 10 minutes to buy refreshments first before going in to Carl's Jr to buy my food so my food wont get cold. When I came out my work truck had been towed by the Manager Mario against the law and he was incredibly rude when I asked for an explanation. I was not close to being gone for 1 hour that is required by law. While I was waiting for my Daughter to pick me up, I saw multiple tow trucks hidden on the side of the restaurant waiting for unsuspecting people to leave their cars and then they got towed. I am now being charged closed to $400 to get back my truck with all my work tools. Predatory Towing is against the law Please be careful of this...

One of the worst experiences I've ever had. The guy working the drive thru window charged me for the wrong order after I told him the amount was wrong. He blew me off and charged my card anyway. Then the girl in charge tried to fix it but did a refund instead of voiding the charge. That means I have to wait 3 to 5 days to get my money back. It's not about the $19 dollars, it's the fact that they take the money right away but take much longer to give it back. It's the principle of the matter, especially since it was their mistake. The transaction should've been voided. Then the same guy who messed up in the first place practically throws my food at me. He never said hello, never read my order back to me, never looked me in the eye, didn't ask me if I wanted any condiments and never said thank you. So he doesn't pay attention to what he's doing and has some of the worst customer...

I've never had a bad experience at any Carl's Jr. I do have a funny story about a bum who tried to steal an entire dessert display. He ran out empty handed and completely naked. 🤣😂 The security guard knocked the desserts out of the buns arms. He overtook the little security guard. A concerned patron stepped in and took the security guards weapons away from the bum. The security guard proceeded to chase the guy in circles around the dining area. He finally dove and caught the suspect by his ankles. He didn't let go. The bum squirmed out of his pants, jewelry hanging to his knees. He took off his shirt and ran around the dining room a few more times before he ran out the back door where police were waiting for him. 😂🤣 But this place has no incidents. Great experience! Delicious food!...
