Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Please I would love someone to explain this to me.. I ordered my food at the counter. There was no discount on the app I was wanting to use, I figured I'd add my stars later like I always do. How? Tell me how is the app telling me I've already added my star to my account when my code was never scanned???? I'm sorry this is absolutely ridiculous. This is the third problem I've had with a Carl's Jr and their app. First to my coupons on the app I was told don't work at those locations yet I thought they were supposed to work out every location. Now this. After the first two I decided to give them one more chance. Why? It's nothing but problems now. I reported both problems to customer support and all I got was I'm sorry you had this experience. It took over a month for an email.. why put into customer support to put a complaint if they're not going to do anything about it. Carl's Jr has officially lost...

I've been coming by ever since I moved to the area. Their app made it easy to get a double western bacon cheeseburger as soon as five minutes. I could drive a block over and it'd be ready twice over by the time I arrived!

But what really got me coming back to this one was the servers. They were polite at first, like any other worker, but after they recognized my face the third time I got the same order - several weeks apart, mind you - I was impressed. Then, on my fifth visit, they remembered my name.

Just now, before I sent this review, I came up through the driveway, and they recognized my car. Didn't even need to say anything to get ushered to the window to pick up.

Most expensive "fast food" restaurant ever! They never have the specials on the drive thru menu. You have to either drive around the store and look at the windows and get 4 people to make up their minds on what they want before getting in the drive thru or go inside. The messed up part is if you get one of the $2.49 sale burgers and make it a combo, it comes out to $8.48 before tax. The combo is $5.99 added to the price of the burger. How is it that fries and a drink are more than double the cost of the burger? The burgers are just ok, not great. I really don't know why they charge so much for the burgers that are not on sale. It's not quality that you're paying for. The Fries are garbage 45 seconds after you get them, as soon as they cool down they taste like cardboard.
