Today my wife and I decided to go to Carl's Jr. and when we arrived the cash registers seemed to be off but there were no signs or anything to let customers know that their machines in the dining area were down. The cashier who was working walked up to the counter with a blank stare after saying hi and nothing else. I have worked at a few different food industry jobs and my manager always tells me to greet the customer and ask how I can help them. This did not happen. I have dealt with this employee before and anytime she misunderstands or gets the order wrong she gives an attitude as if I was wrong to ask her to correct her mistake. With that said, I asked for a large drink with no ice and she put in the system small, when I told her I wanted large she told me "well I put it as small and you can get refills." then I explained I didn't want a small and offered to pay for the large as a new drink, and I was met with a sigh, an eyeroll and said "no just take the large" and added extra ice. As I previously stated I have worked in the food industry and I know that any food establishment has a universal golden rule....DO NOT EAT WHERE FOOD IS PREPARED!! This same employee not only ate where food was prepped she also removed her mask and wasn't wearing gloves. The designated area for eating for any food industry employee is either in the dining area or in a designated area away from food prep at the proper break time your manager gives....no matter the position you have this rule should not be broken.. I will not return to this establishment for multiple reasons including health and safety code violations and just horrible rude customer service....please consider the health and safety of your family and friends before going to...
Read moreWow so disappointed. First time going to carls Jr in so many years. Was craving a burger and thought I’d go and have a try. And oh boy was I disappointed. Went through drive through, Ordered a double famous start with extra lettuce and large fries. First off the burger was thrown together like they were in a rush to clock out. But the restaurant seemed empty. No extra lettuce added but was charged $.39 for it. Fries were half filled but I will say they were warm and not cold. So that’s good I guess! I asked for ranch which btw they are charging an obscure amount of $.41 for whatever reason. When I asked why, the lady at the register she said “everything is expensive, it’s not my problem!” I said okay and she hands me the bag without the ranch and then closes the window. I guess it really wasn’t her problem 🤷🏽♂️. With prices going up because of the minimum wage, and cost of a meal is almost $20 at the minimum is decent hospitality should be a given. Should have gone to in-n-out, way better food, no random charges, cheaper and their staff is always...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I went to Carl's Jr this morning for breakfast. I was completely shocked by the unpreparedness inside. They were out of both of the drinks we were trying to get, (raspberry tea and fanta) so I informed the worker behind the counter. She took our cups and filled them on her side. Then I went to get ketchup from the self pump, but they were totally out of that. I told the worker, she said she'd bring some to our table with our food. My boyfriend got up to grab some packets of pepper. They were out of that as well. As he was walking back to our table I watched a customer try to get coffee.. none! At one point I had to ask that same worker for more ketchup and ended up standing at the register for several minutes waiting for her to acknowledge me and finish the text message she was sending on her phone! Absolutely ridiculous!!! The one and only reason why I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because our food was delicious. Other than that, this location of Carl's Jr totally...
