Carnitas Michoacan — Restaurant in Los Angeles

This place has the best carnitas I've had from this place all the way to the border in San Diego. Juicy, flavorful carnitas with the skins. I ordered 1lb of just meat. Side of their gauca salsa and a red and green salsa. The green salsa is very, very good. Red is also very good. Just randomly looked for a Mexican place near me and this was a hit. Cannot recommend the carnitas enough.

For the white people that say the skin is gross. You have no idea what you're talking about. It's amazing and it's how it's traditionally served. This place is amazing. I woke up today on a gloomy Saturday wanting some birrieia and so I looked up on uber eats and saw this place serves it. Placed an order and it was on point. Thr meat was flavorful and they didn't use cheap fatty meat. The salsa was spicy which I like because nowadays too many places makes their salsa like water. I almost couldn't take the heat but still ate it and enjoyed their food. I order eggs and chorizo for my son. The only thing I wish they replace is the pork chorizo . With beef chorizo. The lack of honesty/transparency from staff is unacceptable. There is an extra $2 charge on top of your meal if you order asada. It wasn’t something we were notified about or is visible anywhere in the restaurant. We didn’t know we were being charged an extra $2 dollars for asada until after she ran my card and I asked for a receipt. She didn’t let me know we had been charged extra until after I asked her for it. In total of extra charges for the meat came out to $10 Which is more than most of the things on their menu.
